The yard is completely fenced in. There is a huge clearing for ball throwing and running, as well as woods further back for adventures. This yard has everything a dog could want. People find it pretty awesome too!!! Update: hose water is turned off for the winter otherwise the pipes freeze. It will be turned back on in spring!

This spot is a large fenced in yard. It has a small wooden area for pups to explore. There is a lacrosse net and netting in part of the yard for my kids when they play lacrosse backyard. They won’t be back there when the yard is rented. Please make sure to read the directions for parking and where to enter the backyard entrance as it is a bit hidden. Please go down Littlefield Rd. Take the first left onto an unmarked street. You will see a middle school field on your right. Our metal gate entrance is on your left. When school is in session please park on Littlefield or Winston Rd. Otherwise you can pull up to the gate. My hooman mom, Diane, has a huge fully fenced yard — perfect for zoomies and playtime! It’s loaded with toys, a big water bowl, and even a hose for water fun or a quick refill. There’s plenty of room to run, sniff, and explore, plus soft mulch for comfy lounging. The yard’s got excellent bird, squirrel, and bunny watching, while your hoomans can chill in the shaded yard and enjoy the view of all our fun.

Hey dogs and their humans… It’s time to come play at Sammy’s Playground, a private dog park for just you and your pups (there will not be any other dogs present during your visit). There’s lots to do for each and every one of you. With the entire 0.5-acre backyard fully enclosed by a new’ish and secure chain-link fence (Fall 2022), your pups are free to safely roam, sniff, fetch and run to their hearts’ delight. And, wow… you are surely going to love watching them go!! Zoom-Zoom. Pool… Yup, we have a pool! Is your pup a swimmer? Or a swimmer wanna be? Our pool is the perfect spot to splish-splash away! Open May to mid-September, pool use is additional as an Extra Flat Fee, (there’s plenty of photos showing what to expect, which includes towels and life vests). NOTE: pool use is an Extra flat fee, as listed in the Extras section. Consider this added cost when booking for your visit. The areas along the perimeter of the yard are wooded and make for fun pathways for explorations. There are twigs and branches as you would expect in a woody area. The central portion of the yard is sloped and open. This makes for plenty of romping and heavy-duty running- including long throws of a ball or a frisbee. We have tennis balls & a tennis ball chucker. Check out all of the photos and read the accompanying descriptions to get a better idea of how Sammy’s Playground will appeal to you and your furry friends!! And don’t worry about the yard (too much). There’s divots and mounds all around, no manicured lawns when dogs are at play. Go for it guys… Enjoy!! And, during off-season, the pool cover is elephant and dog safe. The dogs are allowed on the pool cover. It’s our hope that our absolute best is what gives our Guests the best experience each time they come over AND that our Guests remain as great as each have been - that we can continue to avoid any reason to raise our hourly rate. We are uncomfortable with doing this, because it goes against the very spirit of our objective for Sammy’s Playground in the first place: providing a safe and secure environment for dogs of all temperaments to enjoy off-leash “true-dog” experiences with their loving humans. (Be mindful of excessive barking for continued peace with our neighbors though) 🐾 We accept donations of dog food, p-pads and medications for the all-dog rescue organization, PAWS New England. They save over 1,000 dogs per year. ——- NOTE: to open the gate, simply reach over the top to find the key. Twist/turn the key until it stops. Then, lift the knob on top of the gate and push the gate open… you’re in! The gate automatically closes behind you. Please confirm that it has engaged into the closed position and then turn the key to lock yourself in. DO NOT REMOVE THE KEY. Confirm that you have locked yourself in by seeing the little red dot and not being able to lift the knob. The photos section includes views of the gate, key and lock. MUST: when you leave, lock the gate. Doubly ensure that you have done so by lifting the knob. Upon leaving, leave the spot as you found it. Folks with multiple dogs should do a walk-about around the yard to ensure that all dog poop has been cleaned up. “Staged” toys can be left as is. Otherwise, we ask that all other toys, balls and such are put away. We appreciate your efforts!!

Join us for ~1/4 acre of fenced in fun! The yard is level and easy to run around in or just relax and enjoy. We have 6' privacy fence and a nice shady area under the trees :) We have one dog of our own who will be inside during your stay. You may see people out front or inside the house but the backyard is yours to enjoy. We will give you space with your pup. This spot in a neighborhood setting. Be aware this means people and dogs could be walking around. I do not have control of what people and dogs are in the neighborhood outside of my fenced in spot. The fenced in area is down a long driveway and away from the sidewalk. I do have a box of toys I put out but it’s not listed as an amenity as they tend to get ruined quickly.

Welcome to our spot! We have a big beautiful fully fenced in backyard with lots of features for pups to enjoy. Wide open grassy spaces, gentle hills, mossy areas, trees and bushes to explore, a small water feature, sunny and shady spots! We have a nice patio area with a variety of seating and tables. There is a hose for filling up dog bowls (please just ensure it is turned back off!). At the back of the yard, there is a gate leading out into woods/conservation area that can also be explored. If you bring kids, we have a small playhouse on the patio with some toys inside, along with two slides in the middle of the yard. Just ask for the WiFi password! I love dogs, and have been providing pet care for 3 decades. We have a great fully fenced in yard space that just recently had beautiful artificial grass installed. No need to worry about muddy paws, ever! The fencing is tall (vinyl) with no spaces or gaps. There's shady spots, chairs, tables and umbrellas for people to enjoy while your dog(s) runs and plays. There are plenty of toys and balls, plus a kiddie pool, sprinkler, hose, bowls, pooper scooper, trash cans, and a great dog house. Great space to host a doggie birthday party. Good alternative to a local dog park. If you don't have a fenced in space, and your dog doesn't do well off leash... this is a good yard space for you. A solution for those dogs who don't do well on the leash and/or pet parents with mobility issues. Available early mornings, and some weekends and week nights.
