55Perfect and super easy to find!! Other reviews were right about the incline tiring your pups out! Lots of toys provided and it’s nice and shady which is great for the summer. only thing is the neighbors across the way do have barking dogs. I don’t think you can see them but if you have a dog reactive to sound then I might take that into consideration :)
55This spot was amazing! My dog loved sniffing every inch! There was a lot of natural shade provided and a sheltered place for us to sit. So many toys, water and other things provided for our visit. We will definitely be back!
55We needed a place for our dogs to stretch their legs on our way to Florence and found this spot more than welcoming! The host was even kind enough to extend our stay when traffic kept us delayed. Beautiful, clean and quiet! We will be back!
55Lovely, shady, well-fenced, with lots of up and down to wear out the dogs!! Very nice!
55Perfect spot! There is plenty of shade. Our pugs and our malinois had a great time. There’s a a small incline and it wore our dogs out. We will definitely go there again!
55We took a couple of hours out from a long car ride to enjoy this lovely, woodsy spot. On a hot day, the trees were appreciated by our pup and us alike. The ice cold water waiting for all of us was perfect, there were lots of thoughtful touches, and Fezzik loved loping up and down the slope after his ball while we ate a picnic and read a bit. Fez definitely enjoyed all the things to sniff, and we appreciated the pretty site and chairs. Thank you, Eleesa, for hosting! While we didn't need it, there was a nice little case with a first aid kit, extra toys, treats, and towels! What a thoughtful collection. Thank you again for such a nice part of our day of driving.
55This is a lovely securely fenced area with plenty of toys and sniffs for dogs, and a table and chairs for humans. Plenty of shade and fresh water for all. Would recommend and return
55Eleesa is the best host with the best spot!! It’s shady, with extra shade under a canopy. She has water on Ice in this hot weather, toys for pups, fresh dog water, towels. There is nothing she doesn’t offer. She’s a great communicator and was very kind when a person attending my rescue meet arrived a. It early. Great spot! Thank you!
55This is an excellent sniffspot! It's securely fenced all the way around, so I felt safe bringing my pups for a little exercise before the scary 4th of July fireworks begin. Access is easy, right off the freeway and the sign, "sniffspot parking" marks a dedicated parking spot. Almost the entire area is shaded by huge evergreen trees. The picnic table and chairs under a shade are nice for sitting. There are plenty of toys, the gate is easy to use, and I Really appreciated a nice cool bottle of water for myself too. Highly recommend!
55This was our first Sniff Spot experience and we will definitely be back! Memphis’ Meadow is a deluxe doggie experience, complete with toys, balls, fresh cold water & a dish, and a comfortable shaded canopy with a picnic table for the humans. Lots of shady space to run around under the trees. Just what we needed!

Description

Memphis’s meadow is fully fenced with new 5ft field fence. The lowest point is a three foot man gate by the house. It’s beautifully sloping park like setting with large mature trees. There is always shade to be found no matter the time of day. We offer extra amenities and are always open to suggestions! There is a larger 8ft wide stock gate (also secured with woven 5 foot fence) near the parking area. This is marked with a beautiful wood sign and sharing library. Please help yourself. We have two green chairs please feel free to move them around the yard as you wish and a picnic table to enjoy morning coffee, lunch break with your pooch or even a nice evening picnic to watch the sunset. We have added a gazebo for enjoyment on sunny days and rainy day’s alike! Feel free to send us a note if you have a special request or ideas on how to make your visit more enjoyable! As a note, we do have chickens across the driveway from where you access the spot. They are secure in their own space. If you are interested in farm fresh eggs let me know and I can set a dozen out for a small donation. Egg cartons are always welcome!

First time guest? Use discount code FarmPlay for a $5 discount. Fostering or training a dogo? Use code FosterSF&G for a $5 discount. This is a 5 acre farm with 1 full acre dedicated to the sniff spot. The pastures are cross fenced allowing for room to explore but not too far. Horses that offer some additional entertainment but are always a safe distance with a large space (enough to drive a large truck through) between fence lines. The animals are used to the dogs being around and even barking at them so they don't respond and generally the dogs get bored of them and move onto exploring the space. We have some simple agility items in the space along with balls and other toys to help entertain both you and your dogs. As a guest you have access to: * Fully Fenced Acre of play space for off leash adventures * Water - leave the blue handle in the up position and use the small black lever at the top of the hose near the faucet to get water. * Poop baggies * White garbage can * Dog towels, clean ones in the clear container and dirty ones go into the grey tote. We ask you use 1 towel per visit if possible. * Porta Potty * Shelter with chairs and a small table you can put anywhere in the field during your visit we just ask that you put them back when you are done. * During the summer days we include a doggie pool. They are blue kiddie pools. Double them up when you use them so they are easier to empty and less likely to break. Please dump the pool and return them to the corner when you are finished. IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION: This is a field that has uneven ground including mole and gopher holes. Please watch your step. Please keep within the Sniffspot area. If you happen to throw a ball over a fence just message me and I can retrieve it after your visit. It is important to stay outside of areas market private property. Those gates also have extra locks but just in case we want to be sure everyone stays safe. USE OF INDOOR ARENA: During harsh weather (over 95 degrees or winter would be those days of wind and heavy rain) the indoor arena may be an option. YOU MUST MESSAGE me prior to the visit to ask for use so we can make that ready for you if it is available. We are excited to have you come and share this special place with us.

Jasper Memorial Sanctuary NOW OPEN

**Finally, Jasper Memorial Sanctuary is ready to host dogs. The recovery of this area following the January storm has been extensive. Please be mindful of the scope of the damage and tread lightly to allow the land to recover. As new trees and shrubs are planted in the fall, please ensure that they are not damaged by dogs. There will be ongoing logging on most weekdays on our property and adjacent neighbor's property. I will keep the Sanctuary closed during some of this time as the logger brings his dog to work. The cost to recover/rebuild Jasper Memorial Sanctuary was extensive. Material costs were over $5000. Labor costs, had I hired all the hours worked, are over $15,000. The price increase for utilizing the Sanctuary is small in comparison to the expenses incurred from the loss.

Thank you to all my amazing guests who have given your dog(s) opportunity to find their calm within by visiting Jasper Memorial Sanctuary. It is amazing to see your dogs and you finding your inner peace. Thank you too for following all of the rules to keep this SS sustainable into the future. The fee set is the amount needed to allow me to keep this site open and provide improvements when needed. (I understand other sites charge less, but I've learned charging less is not financially sustainable. Hosts do not earn what they charge). I love hosting new and returning guests. RECENT IMPROVEMENTS/RESTORATION: Approximately 80 damaged/downed trees removed. 40 uprooted stumps ground out 340' of new 5' fencing installed 140' fencing repaired New entrance gate/location created 100s perhaps 1000s of poison oak dug out (it's still present, just fewer) Culvert installed at entrance with gravel path to gate (pending) New signs installed A 6'x6' sand box has been added. Please encourage digging in this location only. Discourage digging in all other locations for the safety of everyone and the preservation of the environment. A poop bag dispenser has been installed on a post near the gate and will be kept filled. MEMBERSHIP AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST to repeat/returning guests after we have met. Please message me if interested. Jasper Memorial Sanctuary, named in memory of my soul dog Jasper, is no larger than 1.3 acres in and fully fenced. The acreage is a combination of mid-age dense timber, new reforestation, devastation zone and open grass. The area is flanked on two sides by driveway. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹𝘀. Be respectful of wildlife. Deer and turkey roam the property and consider the space their home. If there are wild animals in the sanctuary enclosure upon your arrival, please keep your dog(s) on leash until the other animals have vacated the area. Under no circumstance are dogs allowed to chase wildlife. Domestic and rescued animals that live on the property include horses, donkeys, geese and chickens. 𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹𝘀 and do not approach any of these animals. 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 is about 50' away from the entrance gate.
