Hi there! We have a big backyard that my dogs enjoy often. It is fully fenced yard but you could see any pedestrian or dog that walks on the street, about 25 ft away. I have three dogs, two under 20lbs and a 60lb black lab but they will be inside the house at all time during your stay (unless you want a play buddy!). You do not have to pick up after your dog but if you do, you can throw it away at the provided trash can. Feel free to reach out with any questions! Note - if you are booking a visit between 7am and 9am, please make sure you give us at least 12 hour notice. That way we can make sure we clean up before your visit.

Be aware of the Alpaca in the separate fenced pasture above the Sniffspot pasture. There is also a hose at the bottom of the stairs on the north side of the building to rinse off your pup's paws if needed. Huge space where your doggies can play, dog, run and chew some sticks . Half of the land is a forest paradise with plenty of chewing sticks, ferns and trees to smell. The other side is just a flat piece of land, don't mind the vehicles park on the property they are just stored. The land has holes and uneven pieces so be careful when you walk around It is partially fence so I wouldn't recommend it if your dog likes to run away or like to explore. Please park after going through the gate on the gravel path

It's a Dog's World! Room to Run and Have Fun!

** SAFETY - when you LEAVE the yard after your visit, please pull the gate handle hard enough so that you can hear it latch all the way shut; you should feel it click and if you push on it again it should not pop back open. A couple of times lately the gate has been wide open because it was not fully latched, and it opened back up. THANK YOU!! I appreciate it - I always look first before letting "my" dogs out, but it is still risky to have the gate open. 🐶🦴 ** PLEASE continue to leave a REVIEW every time you visit (even just stars!) and also please add a photo if you want to- the reviews help a lot, and I LOVE seeing the photos of all the cute dogs enjoying the yard!! That's what it's all about! 🐾 *** Rainy season has commenced - UGH. There WILL BE mud - your dog WILL get muddy. There are towels and a "Mud Buster" that you can use for their paws. For the humans, wear boots or shoes you don't mind getting dirty. I have quite a big yard for this area. It is fully enclosed by a 6' wooden fence. Between the yard and the patio, the total area is roughly 3200 sq feet. I have a rockery that dogs love to run up and down, juniper bushes, a large covered and uncovered patio area, a kiddie pool in the hot weather, 2 water bowls (and a hose for replenishing the water/pool if needed), lots of tennis balls and toys, and a large perimeter to sniff! There is a bench, small table, and some Adirondack chairs in the backyard (and more chairs and a larger table up on the patio) for the humans... feel free to move them around as you wish! There is plenty of space to throw balls and toys; if you have mobility issues and cannot go down into the backyard, you can stay up on the patio and have your dog bring the ball back to you. (There are flat stone steps that lead down into the yard.) Most dogs love to run up & down the rockery! Your dog(s) should be very tired and happy by the end of the Sniff! Thanks, and enjoy the time with your dog(s)!!

Our covered patio seating for 3 is perfect for lounging while your pup plays in the yard or rests on a raised dog bed between rounds of zoomies! 🛋 The retaining wall in the middle of the yard provides an awesome opportunity for running and leaping on and off, making zoomies all the more fun! To the side, there is also a gentle slope perfect for dogs who would rather take it easy. Fully fenced with 6' cedar fencing, which means your dog won't see cars, people, or other dogs passing by once you're in the yard. No neighbor dogs bordering any side of the fence, which keeps it peaceful and lessens anxiety.🧱 There is lighting under the magnolia tree and along the fences and buildings to help you enjoy your evening visit. We also supply flashlights in case additional light is needed. 💡 Private, off-street parking for at least two vehicles is provided in the driveway for your convenience. There is no street parking on our street. Please let us know if you need parking for more than two vehicles and we can discuss arrangements. 🚗 An additional 3 camping chairs can be provided upon advance request. Invite some friends, bring some food and drinks, and have a good time hanging out while your pups play! We provide a few toys for your use including tug toys and a ball and chuck-it, please return to the toy bucket when finished. Have your dog try out our tree-mounted tug toy for a fun challenge! We try to fill the water bowl with clean water for each visit but please help yourself to the hose if you need clean water or to rinse your pup off. Poop bags are provided for your convenience. To minimize the spread of illness, please do not bring your dog to visit if it is sick. Check out our extras for added fun; pups love the sniff scavenger hunt for added enrichment! Extras are only available on weekends or evenings. We usually offer bookings as early as 8:30am or as late as 9:30pm, but can accommodate guests outside those hours with advance notice; please message if interested.

Update 1/1/25 Two spots available, your choice! Spot #1 tends to have puddles after heavy rains. It’s wise to bring a towel to wipe down the doggos before you leave. We have reopened spot #2 in the pasture nearest May Valley Road. For the time being, the goats are still in the pen adjacent to spot #2. We moved the birds out and are finishing a new goat area. If you want a cleaner run and don’t mind meeting our goats Bonnie, Clyde, and Grommit, check out spot #2. The goats don’t mind dogs too much, but may try to head butt them through the fence if dogs get too close. If you don’t mind occasional puddles, spot #1 is good for a splashing good time. Remember to bring boots and towels for afterward. 1 acre of flat field in a beautiful setting. One large tree in the corner. Fully fenced approx 4.5’ with predator fencing. We have motion lights that come on at night, not super bright but makes the spot visible during early night winters. Boarded by two, large pastures, a private road with limited use and our barn. Occasionally during the wet months flocks of geese/ducks may land in the wetlands adjacent. We have goats, turkeys, geese, ducks and chickens but they are on the other side of the property and should not be seen/heard. We have two dogs, Veles and Flora, that will be on the other side of the property or in the house. There is a covered bench and trash can in the spot, fresh water is also available. An outdoor bathroom is available for use, see map. When using the bathroom please keep your pup in your car. We look forward to hosting you and your pup! Ample space with mature plants to sniff, roll and laze. Most neighbors have dogs including one to our south that borders our chain link fence so he can be seen when in his back yard.

Private Fully Fenced Yard in Kirkland

Conveniently located next to a public trail access, and located within private property. The lawn is a mix of short grass and soft moss, this is regularly maintained and never sprayed with chemicals or fertilizers. Fully fenced on all four sides with no low spots\gaps. One secured swinging gate at the entrance. Dedicated parking along the road just before the house and is clearly marked with a sign! The table next to the fenced area has a mailbox with hand sanitizer and other goodies, there is also a water\food bowl available. (I have a hose on the side of the house you are welcome to use) Please dispose of any used poop bags and other trash in the little blue trash bin under the table. The road next to the fenced area is privately owned, so the only people and vehicles that pass by are residents and delivery couriers but they are not very visible due to the difference in elevation. People occasionally pass by on the public trail and some do bring their pets, but it is mostly obscured from view by the trees on our property and separated by two sets of fences. Note that we are within hearing distance from a sportsman club\firing range, so at times there may be noise. Please reach out with any questions you may have!

2 Private Acres of Zoomies

2 acres with 5 foot chain link fence surrounded by forest and wetlands. This offers a distraction-free place for your dogs to get their zoomies on! You get both shade and sun, with grass, dirt, wood chips, (and a bit of mud in some spots during the rainy season). We are in the country, so our park doesn't share a fence line with neighbors. You won't see any other dogs. There could be far away dog barks from a few blocks over, but nothing up close. We don't use toxic sprays, so rest assured it's a natural and safe place to romp and play in private. The 2 acres has mature trees throughout and is mowed during the growing season. It's perfect for throwing tennis balls and getting lots of good sniffs in. You will be able to see your dog at all times (unless he/she is hiding behind a tree.) If you add "The Woods" extra (see below) detailed instructions will be within the Sniffspot park, on the SouthEast fence next to the big red bow.

To be fully fenced please roll shut the main gate after you park. There are also 2 sets of gates at the top of each trail to the Sniffspot. The forest area is fully fenced, some doubled. As you can see from the pictures, the field is far enough from the street and house, that you feel you have enough privacy to relax and enjoy the setting. Bring water for your dog, there's a water dish provided. There’s a wet/muddy area from creek overflow by the back corner fence line - so be sure to pack some dog towels. there might be some foot traffic on the bridge that’s many yards away. our driveway gate is by the sniffspot gate, so there might be a delivery driver/resident opening/closing the gate. parking is located by the entrance. the driveway is just before/after the bridge, turn left down the driveway. the parking area will comfortably accommodate 2 vehicles, bring no more than 3 vehicles - please do not block our driveway in case emergency vehicles/delivery vehicles need to access. thanks! IMPORTANT, BEFORE YOU SCHEDULE: I need to be alerted if your dog has bitten anyone or has the potential to bite, as I need to clear this with my room mates, before your visit. If my room mates need to go to the back yard for any reason, I will have to cancel your appointment, most probably. I try to be sure I coordinate, but I am human and mistakes can happen.
