55The look and feel of a wilderness hike with the convenience of being it town. Terrain is varied and kinda rugged if you go off the trails, but you certainly don’t have to. There are a few environmental hazards, but the owner meets you at the entrance and tells you what hazards you could see and where to look for them. Had a great visit. Will definitely be back.Miranda G.

55Great spot! Tall fences with very small gaps, not even wide enough to see through, so very secure. Long and narrow yard - perfect for fetch and keeping an eye on your dog without having to follow them around. The table had comfy chairs and an umbrella that saved us from a short snow shower. All-around perfect spot!Rebekah G.

55A smaller yard but lots of great sniffing 😊 the host left us some extra dog treats that Maisie & Max enjoyed. Just an FYI there is a lot of traffic noise from the nearby highway if your dogs aren’t used to that. Maisie & Max are now sacked out on the sofa with me, mission accomplished ❤️Jan K.

55We really enjoyed our time here. The gate had a welcome sign with our pups' names on it when we arrived, and there was a bin with various toys, hand sanitizer, and bug spray for us to use. (The bug spray was a great touch!)
They enjoyed running around and smelling all the new smells. The table and chairs set up were a great place to relax while my husband ran around with our dogs.
The neighbors dog was on the other side of the fence for a while, but he seemed very sweet, just curious about our dogs while they barked at him. He did not bark back at them, even though they had poor manners.
There were little animal statues, and I swear my one dog thought they were real animals at first from the way she ran up to them. She kept charging at them randomly as though she was trying to startle them into moving.
The fence was very secure, and the height was nice and gave a feeling of privacy. It was a nice little oasis with plenty of bushes and a tree to run circles around.
Overall, it was a great time and a fun way to celebrate their 4th gotcha day! Heather C.

55Really great place to visit! My pup had so much fun! Such a great variety of sniffing opportunities all within an enclosed fence. The pool was also lovely - even though my pup opted not to go in. If your dog is easily overwhelmed, you should be aware that there are goats in a pen that shares one cattle mesh fence with the yard. My guy got pretty worked up about them at first.Miranda G.

55We visited Camie's yesterday. I've been trying to get my dog to swim. We started practicing last year but she was scared, it wasn't easy getting her into the water and she loves water. But yesterday she felt secure enough to go up & down the pool steps, play ball in the water & actually jump in too. She left with confidence that she didn't have before. We also got to explore the large fenced yard, goats & 2 horses. The pool was beautiful & the water was possibly heated. It was just perfect, not too cold or too warm. The host was very nice and accommodating. I would recommend this sniffspot & we will definitely go back! Audrey F.

55Camie was such a wonderful host! The day before, I had a ton of questions and she was amazing and answered all of them. One of my dogs loves water. He has a wonderful time swimming. The pool area was free of anything dangerous on the ground, the pool had sparkling clear water, and was fully fenced in. While the yard is fully fenced in, the pool has an additional gate and fence as well. This was extremely helpful in trying to keep my Labrador out of the pool for the last half of the trip so he could dry off. My husky was in LOVE with the goats. The two dogs ran around the giant yard together. Camie supplies you with a selection of toys, water for the dogs, seating in the shade, and a designated garbage can with pooper scooper. During our stay, I’d like to note that we did not come across other dog poop in the yard, and we were happy with the cleanliness. I can’t wait to come back. Christina D.

55My dog, Stella, me and my dad had a great time here at Cami’s backyard. We ran in the field, said hi to the goats, splashed around a little in the pool, and played with one of her dogs who loves to swim.
Stella enjoyed all of the different places to sniff, she enjoyed playing with her new dog friend, and meeting Cami and Her daughter.
She has dog toys and water plus a potty scooper and a trash can by the tree. The house was easy to find with gps and instructions from the host, Cami. The environment was friendly and inviting.
The salt water pool temperature was great (80° heated).
This was a great experience for us and we will surely be back many times to come.
Thank you for being a great host and providing such a beautiful property to us. Amanda C.

FAQ About Westminster Dog Parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 3% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Westminster area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 478 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 769 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
