Description

Hidden River Farm is a 40 plus acre paradise for humans and dogs. We opened our organic orchard 6 years ago and it operates annually from June to October. So we have decided to try to open it up for use year around if possible. We welcome folks to bring their dogs out to run, retrieve, train or just play for awhile to get the energy out. There is an abundance of land. We offer a picnic area with table and chairs. Both tables offer umbrellas for shade if needed. We have water spigots so that the dogs can have clean drinking water. We also are breeders of Champion Labrador Retrievers. We have chickens, ducks, donkeys, horse and more. We are a working farm that believes sharing is a great thing these days.

HOST NOTE

If you decide to go through any gates that are closed, please be sure to shut back after entry. Should you decide to walk your dog on the back side of the farm, you will have to enter through a gate and follow the path. All dogs MUST be leashed on this part of the property. This area hosts numerous wildlife and farm animals.

Additional rules

Guests are required to clean up after their pets and dispose in trash receptacles. We have water but do not supply bowls. Please bring your own to ensure germs or bacteria can not be spread to other guest dogs. Also we often have campers on the farm at our two sites. When you arrive, please make sure that your pet(s) are leashed in case camper(s) have pet of their own. If there is a camper and pets are present, please take your pet to another area of the farm where they won't interact with the campers pet(s). You are welcome to walk the back of the farm with your pet but please keep them leashed as this area is a wildlife packed area. Please also make sure that if you open any gates, to immediately shut back. We often have livestock grazing in this area and if you pet(s) are not familiar with livestock, this could be a potential problem.
