35Small fully fenced in area. Entry was challenging. The gate to the entrance was secured and closed. There was a, "Sniff Spot," sign on the gate's intercom but no additional direction for notifying anyone that we were there. The text I received from the host prior to visiting stated that they did not provide water but did not mention the locked gate or how to gain entry upon arrival. Essentially, it felt like I had no business being there and had it not been for the sign I would have left. I was able to get a good enough view beyond the fence to see that there was additional parking on the other side of it and what looked like a dog run. That encouraged me to use the small gated entrance to the right of the driveway to carefully walk into the property and found there were additional Sniff Spot signs on the other side. Please note there is a sign on the gate stating that they have dogs so I didn't know what to expect. Needless to say, my exploratory foray into their private yard was done without my dogs. Once I established their dogs were not in the yard and that it "appeared" that the Sniff Spot was on the other side of the locked gate, I got my pups and brought them in through the side gate. Again, that gate had zero signage stating I had permission to be there. The other Sniff Spot signs were further inside their property, at the dog run. Aside from the poor signage and challenge accessing their property, the dog area seemed fully enclosed and my pups had a fine time stretching their legs. I would return now that I know how to gain access.
35It is forbidden to use the owner’s water. I forgot that part when I booked this SniffSpot a second time. My 15 month old jet black (heat absorbing, like a solar panel) Standard Poodle pup got too hot in our 9 AM session today. I usually mist his coat several times and provide plenty of drinking water in warm weather and when he runs, which he loves to do, but with no access to water he and I had to leave 30 minutes early for safety. Otherwise this spot provides cool shade and an adequate area for dogs to enjoy. Still, given my pup’s water needs, I’ll choose a Spot that furnishes water next time I book a SniffSpot. If you book this spot, don’t forget to bring water.
55Big open area with trees for shade. Although one area of the fence had the metal wire sticking up but other than that it was great
55Wonderful grounds for our group of 4 active dogs! They bounced and ran for the better part of an hour. Shade and water were plentiful. Many thanks to host Natalie :)
55This is a good size yard, enough for a large dog to run around and chase a ball. Our girl had a great time!
45The directions and signs were great . My dogs had a good time sniffing around. There were a few blackberry vines with some big thorns back by the trees and a couple of small holes and one bigger one . I have senior Great Dane and one younger reactive Great Dane . I watch for holes for the senior one and for other animals for my reactive one . No other animals were seen or heard so that was great. Bring water for your dogs. Overall my dogs and I had a good experience.
55Nice and well maintained!
55The girls had a great time exploring and left worn out. Thank you. We’ll be back.
55Just the right size lot for playing Frisbee with my black lab. There is a small shaded area that he used for a few minutes to get out of the sun.
55Pretty area! My pup had a great time :)

Magickal Ladybug Haven 2 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Newberg

Magickal Ladybug Haven is a little slice of Heaven on Earth, conveniently located 2 miles from the city center of Newberg off Hwy 240 and Red Hills Road. I have a lounge in the open air barn for you to relax, enjoy your coffee or wine. There is a view of the top pasture. I also have a large table with chairs under the Old Oak Tree with view of lower pasture. Please bring acrylic glasses as I do not permit glass in the area. I have 2 horses in the front pasture, you will see when driving down the cathedral tree lined driveway. I ask you to go slow as we do have barn cats, critters, and a 15 year old rescue American Staffordshire, whose deaf and his hind end is a bit shaky. He will be in/or put in when you arrive with your dog(s). Due to this spot being my horses' rotation pasture, PLEASE, NO Diggers. I won't risk an injury to myself or my horses by an unseen hole. Thank you in advance! Please clean the dookie (poop) up if your dog goes dookie in the pasture, like you would the dog park or at home. It's no fun for anyone who steps in it (it's not like horse poop at all, as you know). There are other people, dogs, myself and my horses and my mower that are now enjoying/using this space. I have a lined trash can in the open air barn and extra dookie bags hanging above the trash can. If you have forgotten yours, please use on of ours. Thank You in advance! There are times that I may have to do work on the property, or someone in the household may be out on the veranda of our house, or have to come or go during your reservation. Our cars are parked on the asphalt between open air barn and our garage. We are always respectful, and will attempt not to have anything major going on during your reservation. This is our home and farm and are happy to share...and please realize we live here. If there is an issue with this, please book another location. So appreciated! I do have an Airbnb room on site and may have a guest. There are no dogs or children allowed in the house as my rescue dog's trauma was with kids and other dogs. It's his house. There is mud on the other side of gate opening and in pasture when it rains, just so you are aware. I have an additional property/risk waiver for you to sign at check in. You only have to do this on your first visit. I appreciate you obliging. I'm looking forward to meeting you and having your pooch(es) enjoy their sniff time. With Joy and Magick, Melodee
