Peaceful mini-retreat with field & woods

Fully/securely fenced 20 acre spot with a field & orchard in the front. The back half is forested and has maintained trails throughout. Features include covered picnic tables in the field & woods, portapotty, drinking water station, balls/toys etc - see amenities for more details. There are seasonal streams & ponds in the woods during the wet season. Gravel, woodchips & foot bridges keep the main trails in decent shape but there's easy access to mud & water so expect a wet, dirty pup. Outdoor hose and rinse station provided. Waterproof traction boots, rainwear + towels recommended. Reservations are available up to 30 days in advance. Some days fill fast but plans can change & bookings get modified/canceled (2+hrs beforehand) - check back for an opening if interested. Thank you for being considerate of our space by reading and abiding by SS and spot specific rules and asking all who accompany you to do the same. This space has some a covered sitting area with bench, poop bags and a disposal bucket. Great spot for throwing the ball with the chuck-it, digging box (please don't let them take ALL the sand out) and a climbing apparatus for the dogs away from the fence line. Only vaccinated dogs use this space. Park and go straight to the front fenced yard for your time period. We ask that you do not walk your dog around the property or bring them into the shelter - only to and from the yard. There is a no "nose-to-nose" rule at the facility and no dog is too be off leash on the grounds unless contained in the fenced yard. Public washroom available while your dog is contained in your vehicle, inside the shelter between 9am and 5:30pm.

We have down-time during the day that may be a great opportunity to give your dog a fun time on our property. Everything is fenced in and up to regulations for a dog business. There is a pond available for swimming, ( bring towels ) dog jumps in the back, and plenty of room for your dog to run around. Please park up top using the easy driveway, and walk ( with the dog leashed as you may pass by goats in a field ) walk down the hill past the kennel building and through the gates. Please turn the vacant / occupied gate signs as you come and go . Sniffspot signs will show you the way. Please poop scoop and take it with you. Bags are provided. Woof!
