Welcome to Beaverton's Dog Trails! Please access the trails from Concession 6. Punch these coordinates into Google Maps: 44.4415942, -79.1065234. There is a SniffSpot Sign at the entrance. You may park in the private driveway. Please pick up after your dog, there is a waste bin at the entrance. Please help yourself to a laminated map at the entrance and return after your walk. The map is posted throughout the trails with "you are here" symbols to help you navigate the trails. After a heavy rainfall you will want to wear your rubber boots. In the winter be aware of slipping on patches of ice. Trail Update (March 11, 2025) The river is too high to cross due to flooding. Please enjoy the trails on the side of the river you park at. Follow our Facebook (Beaverton Dog Trails) for more regular updates. Trail update (March 17): We have had a lot of snow melting this year. Rubber boots are recommended for the trails. Trail update (March 23): The trails south of the river remain closed due to flooding. Rubber boots are still recommended for the rest of the trails. Enjoy your visit! The property is partially fenced but has a large fully fenced in pen. Forest space with a trail throughout and a large open space for fetch and free roaming. Garbage bin located at end of driveway entrance for pet waste.
***Charges in USD*** Come enjoy our 100 acre property with an established trail, a pond and a hilltop area with a picnic table, seating and fire pit. We are located only 10 minutes west outside of Peterborough. Our property is home to wildlife such as turkeys and deer - although it may be rare to spot them. **WINTER DISCLAIMER** Due to the size of our property, our trails are not plowed during the winter so we highly recommend wearing winter boots, spikes, snowshoes to enjoy the trails.
