There are approximately 8 acres of fully fenced land that is a combination of woods with walking trails and pasture. Follow the orange trail markers to Virgil‘s pasture. Once in Virgil‘s pasture, there is also a gate that takes you to another 2 acres of walking trails that are unfenced called Gus‘ Loop - follow the white trail markers for Gus’ Loop.

Paws4ever is an animal welfare sanctuary located on 20 acres in Mebane. The sniffspot field is an agility field that is rarely used at our facility. You and your pup can enjoy using some of our agility equipment or just enjoy the lovely open field on our campus.

Go for a walk in the shaded woods, through the Charlie Brown Christmas tree field or by the wild flowers on the way to the farm pond. Relax at one of the 3 fire pits or take cover at the porch of the carriage house where it all starts and ends.

We offer parking on the side of our yard away from the house where you'll have access to 4+ acres of woods within our property, and trail entrances to the public water-shed/game-lands. ******We only open our Sniffspot during non-hunting seasons for safety purposes. ****** Our family has been hiking these same trails for 10+ years, and over 100's of times with our pups. We have been blessed with its wonderous beauty and the pure exhilaration our furry babies get being out there, doing what they love.
