55Great spot! The yard was huge. My dog had a great time exploring. There were tons of water bowls and toys available for her to play with. We will definitely be back
55This yard is AMAZING! Beth Ann got me in last minute and my pup loved every second. It truly is an oasis, it is huge with many hidden areas to explore! I am 100% coming back, thank you!!! Also the treats and toys and human refreshments were amazing! There were bowls with water and ice located all through the oasis and my pup loved discovering them. Thank you!
55The host was incredibly kind and the yard is perfect! I will definitely be coming back!
55She explained what happened with the last booking issue and made up for it. My dog loved all the extra area to run!
55We had a wonderful time we will absolutely be coming back. It was a fun day the dog had a wonderful time! Thank you so much+
55Very cute spot and larger than the pictures look. My dogs had a great time exploring and spent most of the time sniffing. Part of the fencing is wooden privacy fence and part chain link. A dog in another yard was seen and heard barking (which the owner had alerted me prior to the visit could happen). Ice water for the pups and cold water for hoomans was provided as well as dog treats and toys.
55Super big and beautiful perfect place your furbabies
55Great yard for dog and dog owners. Safe, and fun.
15Unable to reach host. Paid extra for splash pad that we couldn’t find. No dog toys or treats. Plus not clearly marked
55Another fun time with the pups they had a blast!

Come and play in Sammy’s Playground. There’s lots to do. With the entire 0.5-acre backyard fully enclosed by a new chain-link fence (Fall 2022), your pups are free to roam, sniff and run to their hearts’ delight. And, wow… it sure is fun to watch them go!! Zoom-Zoom. (Important information on pricing and opening the gate are at close of this section. Pull your vehicle right up to the main gate.) The areas along the edges of the yard are wooded and make for fun pathways for explorations. The central area of the yard has a slight hill and is mostly open. This makes for plenty of romping and heavy-duty running- including long throws of a ball or a frisbee. Check out all of the photos and read the accompanying descriptions to get a better idea of how Sammy’s Playground will appeal to you and your furry friends!! And don’t worry about the yard (too much). There’s divots and mounds all around, no manicured lawns when dogs are at play. Go for it guys… Enjoy!! The pool💦 is open and the water is Devine for pups and humans alike. We allow two humans per dog to assist any dogs that may need “assistance.” We have a bunch of life vests available, but can’t guarantee that we have one that will fit your dog(s). Many dogs will find great pleasure in retrieving their ball or simply going for laps in the pool. Sammy is a nutcase for his tennis balls. David stands in the deep end, throws the ball to the stairs, Sammy bobs for the ball, retrieves it… all to do it again (whining the whole time). For 💦 pool use, select the corresponding “Extra” for your visit. Yellow, stripes towels for the dogs. Colorful towels for the humans. Place wet towels on the wall. They’ll dry almost instantly in the sun. Now that Fall is approaching, pine needles, leaves and other nature debris are falling into the pool. This is making upkeep more challenging. We are doing our best to keep the pool open as long as feasibly possible. Feel free to skim the water surface if it bothers you. But the pool water is correctly adjusted as clean water for continued swimming. We also set up the furniture, gazebo, hammock, doggie toys, cold drinking water and beverages for our Guests for ALL to enjoy as we enjoy this summertime!! Yea. It’s our hope that our family-like relationships between us and our Guests remain great and we to avoid any reason to raise our hourly rate. SniffSpot suggests we list at $20/hour. We are uncomfortable with doing this, because it goes against the spirit of our objective for the playground in the first place: providing a safe and secure environment for dogs of all kinds to enjoy off-leash “true-dog” experiences with their loving humans. We do welcome donations of dog food, p-pads and medications for the all-dog rescue organization, PAWS New England. In fact, on some occasions, we may make Sammy’s Playground available on “off” hours. When we do, we consider this “premium time” and hope you will be more inclined to make such a donation. ——- NOTE: to open the gate, simply reach over the top to find the key. Twist/turn the key until it stops. Then, lift the knob on top of the gate and push the gate open… you’re in! The gate automatically closes behind you. Please confirm that it has engaged into the closed position and then turn the key to lock yourself in. DO NOT REMOVE THE KEY. The photos section includes views of the gate, key and lock. NOTE: As an “Extra” listed benefit, you may park your vehicle in an area away from the main gate and take advantage of a leisurely stroll down the very-well-kept sidewalks of Park Street and adjoining neighborhoods. We list this as an Extra simply so that we know why we have a car in the driveway, but no humans and dogs. Selecting this Extra just gives us the heads up. This might be a good way to burn off that last little bit of doggy energy or for some leash training while you’re here. This is time AFTER your booked time of using Sammy’s Playground (not a part of it). We just don’t want you to run off without taking advantage of all the resources available to you for your dog(s).
