Welcome to our Golden Valley, MN backyard oasis for pups. Our lot is fully fenced in with wide open space to run and play. We offer a cover patio with seating for human friends and clean drinking water, doggie bags (although we are happy to pick up after pups), toys and more for our furry friends.

Our yard is fully fenced with lots of room to run and scents to smell! Our long yard is great for throwing a ball, zoomies, running after bunnies or squirrels and rolling in the grass! Tons of space to enjoy and no dogs in neighboring houses! We are on a corner lot with a lot of areas to explore in summer and winter! On a corner so people/dogs may walks by occassionally.

Rice Creek Sniffspot

A large, open 1.25 acre fenced in yard with multiple small hills that is bordered on the west side by a public walking trail (with 6 foot fence) and on the north side by Rice Creek (with 5 foot fence). Note that the creek is not directly accessible from the Sniffspot. During the winter months, deer and foxes pass just outside of the fenced in yard, while in warmer months the creek entices additional wildlife as well as the occasional canoeist or kayak. Agility equipment pictured are available during the warmer months and are not available in the winter. There's abundant street parking as we are located at a dead-end. Please do not park in the driveway. Enter the yard using the gate located to the left of the garage.

While the yard is a nice play zone, the mulch area in a part of the back yard is not to be used for a play, pee or poo area. Poo bag Disposal: Please dispose of tied up poo bags inside the porch in the garbage can. Water: Dog water is inside the porch and extra water is provided on the table if the water bowl gets empty. Special request: If your pup has been sick in the last week (parvo, kennel cough or viral) please refrain from booking until they are free of symptoms. Please PM for details BEFORE booking!*** WINTER: Will limit calendar occasionally due to unsafe ice/snow conditions. Charming urban oasis located within minutes of Downtown Minneapolis. Yard is flat and spacious, perfect for zoomies or laying around in the grass. Relax in comfy chairs on the patio or under the NEW! pergola while your pups play. Fresh water provided, and a waste station is in the SW corner. We don't use lawn chemicals, so your pup is always safe to roll in the clover or nibble on grass. Plenty of street parking (please do not park in the driveway) and a private entrance along the north side of the property. Please make sure gate is securely closed before leaving. Resident dog may bark briefly from indoors at you but will be out of direct sight. If your pup is reactive to sound, please let me know ahead of time & I will do my best to remove mine from the property while you visit. All proceeds from this Spot go to dog rescue. <3 SUMMER: Kiddie pool will be setup in warmer weather (65F and up) unless guest requests otherwise. There is a shallow plastic splashpad for littles/nervous dogs- please add on as an extra (no cost/free) if you want it setup (see photos for details), it requires a special hose hookup so I don't set it out unless asked.

Ultimate WINTER Sniffing Experience in Roseville!

Winter Update 2025/2026 - still open for sniffs! We’ve taken down the hammock and the sunshade on the gazebo, and put the pool away… but still open for sniffing fun! Nearly 1/3 of an acre in Roseville available for your dog to sniff until their heart’s content! Open mowed grassy area wide enough for zoomies and long enough for fetch, as well as natural/unmanicured shaded areas for “jungle sniffari’s”. Not far off of Highway 36 and 35E, enjoy the perks of room to run while having the privacy of your own space. Plenty of seating for humans underneath a shaded gazebo, with a table and basic amenities for guest use. Please be aware that we do have other dogs in the neighborhood. This includes our direct neighbors to the north, who we share a chain link fence with. If you are visiting on an evening or weekend, there’s a good chance their dog will be outside also! Be careful of any ice that may be around - the “grippy stuff” I put down is cat litter for traction… totally dog safe!

Spacious, fully fenced private yard in Minneapolis where dogs can zoom, sniff, and snooze safely. Perfect for off-leash playdates, solo adventures, and burning energy—just minutes from downtown, West End apartments, lakes, and trails. Mix of shade and sun, as well as water play options. Pet parents are responsible for picking up pet waste and putting in provided trash can. Nov Update: yard has been partially winterized. Most toys and water hose/amenities are unavailable.

Come and enjoy our own private 3plus acres of wooded with some open space and trails. Fully fenced in and secure. So much space for your fur babies to run and explore. No need to stress with other dogs that may be reactive. Or maybe your pup doesn’t play well with others and prefers their own space. Our private dog park is for you. This space is amazing. It is not attached to our back yard and is a completely separate and private area. A great place for play dates with others, maybe even a picnic for the humans. Bring your snowshoes if you would like a bit of a workout yourself off trail in the deeper snow! PLEASE NOTE: Zero tolerance for smoking of ANYTHING while on our property. You may smoke in your own personal vehicle. But also, do NOT leave your dogs unattended. Please pick up after your dog. I am finding a crazy amount of poop left behind. Fill any holes you pup digs and return toy to bin. Also, in the winter months, please be aware that their is no lighting in the field. The designated Sniffspot parking area has ample lighting but none in the field.
