55Omg the best kept secret! Our dogs are pooped.
55This visit confirmed that this is a really great spot for my pup and me. Greeted by two deer in the field, a great sunrise, and plenty of space to explore. Well worth the trip.
15I had to leave my time slot 30 minutes early because someone drove their car up to a trailer on the property got out and started to walk around.
55Nice open space with wide mowed paths. Perfect for someone who wants to use a long line to give their ups more freedom to roam.
15Unfortunately had a less than adequate time in comparison to all other spots we’ve visited. Grass was high and uncut on most of the property. Only a very narrow strip had been mowed. Nowhere to deposit poop so we had to take it with us. Very disappointing. Not worth $15
55This is a really good spot for my puppy, although I always have to keep him leashed. He and I both enjoyed the exercise.

55Great spot! Max had a blast sniffing and running around. He splashed around in the pond. Lots of exciting wildlife smells for him. This spot is BIG, we did 2 laps of the whole place in about an hour. Would definitely come back, thanks for having us!
55The minute you pull into the parking area, you feel the stress leaving your body. Walking towards the fields, you just know it's going to be spectacular! The view is incredible. The walking areas around the field and lake were nicely mowed, just inviting you to discover more!

Description

The Burton Family Farm is a family-owned, 49-acre farm. It’s open, clear land, with a 3 acre pond, a beautiful spot in Holly Corner. Someone is at home, on the property, 24 hours a day. Easy to get to, we are located right off route 17 & 5 miles from 95, right behind Stafford Lakes. My family has lived in Holly Corner since the 1800s, it is safe and quiet. Come enjoy the fresh air, beautiful view, relaxing farm with your dog or dogs! We are a different type of a working farm, as we provide storage and camping on the property and we also grow hay. There is many areas on the farm that one can go that you cannot see others, the road or the other side of the farm. Enjoy your visit!

This is our family farm, our father, Stan Burton, worked and lived on this property most of his life, his childhood home is right next door. He ran S Burton & Co from this property for 40+ years, growing hay and then sod. He helped developed many areas in NOVA for much of his career. He left this farm to my brothers and my care to work & to find ways to save this and our grandparents for generations to come. Please come and enjoy our slice of heaven!
