The back of the property offers 26 acres of wooded area, where there’s 3 walking/hiking trails that cover over a mile. With wildlife view and water front at the end of one of the trail. We have a sizeable half acre backyard for your dog(s) to enjoy privately which includes fresh drinking water, a water hose for bathing, a kiddie pool to play and keep cool, a tree swing for the humans to relax on, and much more. The Back 40

When you book "The Back 40" you have access to the original, smaller, The Mannerly Dog Sniffspot, so no one will be using it while you're here! You'll still have your own private dog park, just a bigger one. You will not see us or our dogs. One neighbor has chickens - they are catty-corner to The Back 40, in the rear. They are in a pen and may cluck or crow at times. the yard catty-corner on the other side occasionally has a couple of dogs in it, but it's pretty rare - it could happen though. You might see or hear humans on the other side of the wooden fence that runs the full 300 feet along the side of both Sniffspots. Otherwise, the area is serene and quiet with plenty of squirrels and birds. Sit and rest or play with your dog - either way, we hope you enjoy your visit!
