55i could not have asked for a better first time experience. the yard is spacious and quiet. there’s chairs to lay on and a hose for water. i am so grateful for The Ranch and Jen. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who needs to get their dog (or themselves) outside.
55This was my first time using sniffspot (as recommended by a trainer) it was Very easy and private. With a nice amount of shaded area for rest. As well as good amount of space for my Rottweiler puppy to explore and play.
55The space was easy to access and welcoming. Two bowls of water were set out for dogs, and there were both shady and sunny spots. For about 10-15 minutes, the dogs in a neighboring yard were out, and they peeked at us from under the fence. I didn’t mind this, as it allowed our playtime to double as training time. Big thanks to the hosts! We will likely return to this spot.
45My two golden retrievers had a blast here! The yard is spacious, clean and well kept. Water bowls were provided and we brought our own toys. The reason for 4 stars is because the listing said gaps under the fence were covered and secure, however that wasn’t the case during our visit. The fence was tall enough but there were a few gaps at the bottom where a dog’s paw and nose could fit. My dog was able to fit almost his whole head under the fence (see photo). There were 2 dogs in the yard behind us and at first, they were all barking at each other. When everyone calmed down, one of those dogs was watching us from the gap. We had to distract our dogs every now and then so that they wouldn’t go near the fence. Had I know about this, I probably would’ve picked another Sniffspot. If you have a very reactive and curious dog, this might be a concern. We would definitely come back if the gaps get taken care of.

Our neighbors behind our house have dogs, but they are very calm and quiet. You might just hear them sniffing around the fence. **NOTE: We have covered the spot where the dogs were able to stick their heads under the fence (see photos). We want to thank our guests who informed us about it.

Description

Spacious, fully fenced-in backyard with covered patio. Located on a busy road, but very quiet! Anti-hawk and pest control devices to keep out predators and protect small dogs. Bird feeder contains peanuts and peanut butter bird suet that's safe for dogs (it's OK if they help themselves). Well-maintained grass.

Either my husband or I (or both of us) will watch your dogs for you in our yard. You can run errands or whatever else you need to do, then pick them up when you're done. This does not include cleaning up dog waste. Add our "Dog Waste Cleanup" extra for that.

If you don't have your own water dish, we'll fill one and leave it out for you. Just leave it in the yard when you leave.

I love animals of all kinds. Currently, my husband and I have six cats, a tortoise, and two birds, but no dogs. We love dogs, but we don't think one would fit in with our current crowd. We don't use our yard very much, so we love that we can use it to make some dogs happy.
