Description

Fully fenced approx half acre, 6' tall, overlooking the ocean on Orella Ranch, the former home of Sam's Doggie Dude Ranch and now the home of Elite Pup Training & Boarding. Best to bring your own water and bowl as we only have very hard well water.

Hazards

There may be an occasional lump of horse manure but it is very rare. When we worm our horses, we do NOT let them in the dog park for three weeks. If not within 48 hours of a worming, horse manure isn't bad for horses; it is dried up grass. On occasion, for a short time, there may be a visible livestock guardian dog that may bark at dogs in the park. He is not a danger, just doing his job.

Additional rules

Dog must be on leash until closed into park. NO roaming about the ranch on or off leash. NO smoking! No professional dog trainers to use the park unless for their own dogs. Do not book on rainy days or 4 days after rain. Muddy! You can bring your own agility toys if you want.

Susie and her husband, Mark, and family live on Orella Ranch where the private park is located. Susie ran Sam's Doggie Dude Ranch here for many years and the kennel is now run by Elite Pup Training & Boarding. This "park" was the dog exercise place for Sam's.
