HOST NOTE

Wood pile and natural areas increase likelihood of run-ins with critters. If you see a snake, please restrain your dog and message us immediately (we have only ever seen a harmless black rat snake). We do not harm wildlife for any reason, but will come help if we are available. Poison ivy/oak/sumac are always a possibility in natural areas. There are also a number of fruiting plants on the grounds including persimmon, pecan, grapes, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, apples and kiwi. There is also a compost pile in the corner near the garden that you may want your pup to avoid.

Additional rules

Please stay away from the wood pile, out of all structures and inside the back fenced area. We live on the upper lot and are outdoors quite a bit. You may see us, but we will keep interactions limited out of respect for what you may desire. We may not always have an opportunity to reset the area between sniffers, so please let us know if you need something or if there are any concerns upon arrival. Enjoy the space!

Fully fenced and partially shaded backyard in Northwest Greensboro near Highway 68 and 73 in a pretty quiet neighborhood. Close to Northwest Guilford Middle and High Schools, and Pearce Elementary. Gravel driveway with room for a few cars to park. Plenty of grass to run and play in. The yard has a gradual slope to it, not perfectly flat. There's a nice, big pavilion with a few camping chairs for people to sit in the shade, as well as, a couple of large trees to provide shade for doggie rest breaks. There are lots of sticks available for chewing or fetching. Host works from home and will stay inside unless help is requested! We're so happy to invite pet-owners and their dogs into our space and see them enjoy it as much as we do! Shelter volunteers are also welcome to bring shelter dogs for a "Dog Day Out"! Please read dog details for important info to note for potentially reactive dogs. We are working on improving stays for future visitors so please provide feedback on what you think would be great to add to our spot! Hopefully you have an amazing time here!
