Nurtured by Nature is a thriving kids summer day camp but currently off season so we are open 7 days a week. So for the safety of the kids and respect to their families we are unable to have the area available while the day camp is open. This is for only 6 weeks in the summer. IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD Hi there, we are Between The Lakes Family Farm in Canfield (15 minutes south of Binbrook). Our farm is located on 100 acres of beautifully scenic property and we have opened 26 acres of that space for you to explore. Our property is on predominantly flat elevation with trails, multiple fields and roughly 7 acres of forest. While the forest can be dense in spots, it is very walkable and presents a lovely spot to hike through. We have 5 ponds as well as a stream that runs the width of our property and travels through the forest. We have a myriad of wildlife that you may see or encounter during your adventures here. These could include (but are not limited to) great blue herons, muskrats, rabbits, geese, ducks, deer and coyotes. We do have livestock and a guardian dog on the property (they are fully fenced) as well as family pets so please respect their space and ensure your dogs are leashed anytime you are nearing the barn, paddock or barnyard areas.

Welcome to our Sniffspot! We offer a pesticide free, beautiful and unfenced 5 acre area for you and your dogs. We offer free parking, access to nearby conservation trails, picnic tables, and a beautiful apple orchard to enjoy. During business hours of noon - 6 pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday, we also offer clean restrooms, hard, farm fresh cider, snacks and indoor seating. Our backyard neighbor has a friendly dog of their own, and to maintain privacy, we have installed a privacy screen along the fence adjacent to their property. This should help prevent any unwanted interactions, although, she still may be heard barking if outside. ***Charges are in USD*** We at BHS understand that letting your dog run and play is so important! But some dogs aren't suitable for dog parks or social areas. Our private, fully fenced half acre yard is the perfect place to let your (reactive or otherwise) dog just be a dog and get some freedom! Please check in at the front desk to get the key to the yard, and clean up after yourself. There are water bowls in the yard, but please bring your own water. There are trees providing shady areas throughout the day. If bringing back the key when we are not open, please put it in the Mailbox, located beside our Front Doors. When we are open, our receptionists will gladly take the key back from you! All the fees go directly to the animals in our case, and we are a registered charity and no-kill shelter. I have 2 dogs here...but will keep them inside during your time if that's whats best for you and your dog(s). Alternatively, if you're looking to socialize your pup, Nala (18 months) and Scout (6 months) are excellent companions. You have full/private access for you and your dog(s). I have 2 large rescue dogs and know how important it can be to find a safe space for them to run and play in that's off leash. Lots of room for zoomies, toys and the agility structure is a hit with all the dogs. Reinforced lattice and bottoms of the fence so it's great for tiny dogs too! 100% private so there will be no other dogs in the backyard at the time of your visit; so perfect for reactive dogs to safely enjoy some zoomies and off-leash play! Reservations are always 100% Private; just you and your pup! You may hear my neighbours or neighborhood dogs, but once you're in the backyard, you won't see anyone :) Lot's of toys and activities for dogs including dog sprinkler and wading pool for hot days. Tons of comfy seating and huge deck with table for their humans to relax and watch them get their zoomies out!
