55Really fantastic fenced up area! One of our favs!
45This is quite a nice space and a good size but unfortunately it didn’t work for us and I only stayed for 10mins. My dogs were very unsure of the donkey which stood at the fence line the whole time (it seems to be very friendly and not bothered by dogs barking at it) and I felt uncomfortable with the space being in a residential area and not wanting to disturb people with my dogs barking. So, a good space for some dogs but not right for us. Beware if you have excitable or reactive dogs.

45This spot was difficult to find. The address is 19 St. E, High River, but it's actually a few kilometers west of High River. The water hole is typical for Spring - the dogs were slough-smelling after having waded in it. And there were other farm animals in the adjacent enclosures - my reactive dog was going nuts. But this spot served its purpose, for sure. These are just a few things for others users to be aware of.
55Lovely area for the dogs to run & play together. There are Cows and donkeys on either side of the street, which was fun for us humans and neat for the dogs! Very well kept and clean!

55We were lucky enough to see eagles soaring, swans flying overhead, ducks in the dugout, geese and we had a hilarious donkey spying on us today. Thankful for this space because since the weather got warm our dogs are absolutely off the rails excited.

***IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD*** We have two areas for use. Mountain View and Water Meadow..each is to be booked separately. Water Meadow is 2 acres of sheep-fenced area. There is a mostly dried-up dugout at the far end (water in spring and early summer). If your dog does not have great recall, and you don't want them in the dug-out area, you might want to use Mountain View. Mountain View is .9 acres of sheep-fenced area. ****I require that all dogs be vaccinated for Parvo and Distemper. Bring your own water and pick up after your dog. Parking is on the driveway, outside of the access gates, which are labeled. Please be sure to close the gates during use and after you leave.

Hazards

Water Meadow has a dirty dug out. You are free to access it, but if you do not want your dog near it, ensure your dog has good recall. It's at the very end of the area, lower down. We are in the Foothills. There are birds of prey everywhere. If you have a very tiny dog, this could be a potential hazard. We do not provide water! Shared water/water bowls is how kennel cough is spread. Please bring drinking water for your dog. This is an open pasture. It can be very windy, or very hot. WE DO NOT SPRAY CHEMICALS IN OUR PASTURES. There is thistle throughout. Booties might be a good idea. We mow often, but weeds grow faster than grass.
