55Thank you Alena! We had a great time at the Barking Lot! Waffles appreciates the privacy and ability to leave his leash behind and wander as he wants! For anyone wondering, we never see or hear another animal or human while we’re there. There’s traffic that you can’t see behind the house which provides nice white noise for my dog. Otherwise he would be alert the whole time and worried about every leaf falling. When we come here his guard completely drops and he’s only in vacation and play mode. At my last visit, it was around Valentine’s Day and the amenities were so great and now this time there’s even more! My son came with us and even he had so much fun! It’s a nice place for both humans and dogs to feel spoiled and relaxed for a bit. Today it was pretty hot but it’s nice having all the shaded areas and ice cold water and snacks. Always an 11/10 experience. Thank you sharing your space with us! We will be back!
55Not your average sniff spot! This place truly goes above and beyond! Not only is the set up incredibly adorable with a little carnival, a little agility stage, an art station, a fire station and more - but there’s also water and snacks for both humans and pups as well as surprise toys for the pups! I can’t speak highly enough of how great this place was!
55What a great backyard and special treat for my dogs. We will be back. Just waiting for the heat to subside. Alena is the best host ever! Communicates quickly and only wants to try and please. All dogs needs and wants are ready for you when you get there fully stocked and backyard is always clean. I have been going there for over a year now. So worth the try. You won’t be disappointed!!
55Another amazing visit to the parking lot!! The dogs had an amazing time visiting the carnival, enjoying one of the doggy pools and making their paw print art!! Can’t wait to return!
55There is so much to do and explore, so many photo opportunities and ways to play! The yard is absolutely adorable and set up for play, fetch, sniffs or if you want to work on training! Salsa had a blast and loved the treats Alena set up for us! The patio is perfect for humans to sit back in the shade and relax or work while the dogs play! We are so lucky to have the Barking Lot close by!

The Barkinglot Carnival has arrived, don’t worry, there aren’t any scary clowns! My backyard provides a safe, secure, stress-free area for you and your dog to enjoy! Many years of volunteering and fostering homeless dogs of Philadelphia, I understand every pup has their own story and I respect that. Our goal is make your visit the most enjoyable experience you can have with your pup. Celebrate your pup’s special day with the “Make it a paw-ty!” extra add on!

Party hats, party themed bandannas, decorations, favors, goodies and special treats (pupcakes, dog ice cream and more) will be set up to help you celebrate! **Booking must be 48 hours before pawty day.** Be sure to check out pictures from a previous Pawty in the photo gallery!

Hello there! My name is Alena and I have three dogs of my own, who enjoy playing in a safe, secure and stress free area, such as their backyard. I have been volunteering and fostering dogs from the city of Philadelphia for over 9 years in my home and worked for an adoption center as an adoption counselor for a high intake shelter for two years. I have worked with many different types and sizes of dogs. I understand every dog has their own story, I respect that and they are all special. I invite you and your pup to come over and enjoy a safe, secure and comfortable place to play and relax!
