Walk in the Pines and hardwoods, with stream and a swamp way out back. Nobody around so dogs can be dogs! Plenty of wildlife - turkeys, deer, fox. Keep track of your dog as track is large. Tick protection is strongly recommended. The trail is marked with orange ribbon. Please keep dog leashed until you get off private road.

Situated on a scenic working farm, the Pooch Playground spans about 1/4 acre and is fully enclosed. Tucked next to a small woodland area, this location offers enough distance from the house and barn for a feeling of privacy. The field adjacent to the area is preserved for wildlife. We mow the spot every week, except during drought conditions. We purposely maintain longer grass (2-3 inches instead of cutting it too short) to withstand high traffic and dog urine. We leave 'islands' of grass long for sniffing and exploration. Look at the pictures of the spot. If a toy ends up in the field and you don't want to walk through the tall grass, let us know, and we will retrieve it.

5+ Acres to romp and swim on peninsula that extends into Balch Lake Park at the top of the hill, hike down allowing your dog a Sniff-Fari on the way and reward yourself with beautiful serene lake views and a spot for your pup to swim at the end Don’t want to walk? Drive down and just head right to the lake! For the more adventurous there are a couple acres to bushwhack across the street All unfenced, peninsula provides natural barrier, very private Gravel road, bring sturdy shoes for walk down and back, needs to be graded after recent rain

Fully fenced in approximately two acres. We now have lighting for nighttime use. Remote switch for lights is located on the bulletin board in the barn. Approximately five times around the property perimeter equals a mile. We have chuck-it throws and balls, many toys, sand/digging areas, pools and agility equipment in a large fenced area for you and your dog to romp around. Main entrance to the yard can be found by entering the second driveway and parking in the designated parking area in front of the solar barn. A recently fully fenced back yard! Wood in the front for privacy and chainlink in the back. This sniffari is about .5 acres. There will be toys available! Balls, chuck it and anything requested if you would like. There are Adirondack chairs, low chairs and a sectional that is dog friendly. A canopy for shade! And woods are to the back and left making this a quiet and peaceful yard. Your dog will get to enjoy a private play time and sniff. Please let me know if you will need sunscreen/water to enjoy while you hangout with you pup (s).

To start I am only offering Sunday thru Friday. If you want a Saturday time slot please contact me and if possible I will accommodate. There is NO SMOKING allowed on my property, I have a one strike policy.

Each dog can have their own fenced-in area to play and observe or open the gate and connect the two spaces for your dogs to explore all that we have to offer. Included with other amenities, we offer confidence building equipment, a digging station, stretching board, pools for water (seasonal) and sensory play, enrichment toys, natural fitness stations and more! Have a special request or need? Let us know. We are happy to accommodate if we are able! Clean water bowls are also offered as well as a sink to easily refill and wash your hands or a toy as needed (seasonal). When done playing with the toys, simply leave them in the bucket provided for cleaning and sanitation for the next furry friend. We also offer a hose and sprayer as well as dry towels (seasonal). Feel free to dry your dog off after splashing in the pool and wipe their feet before they hop back in your car. Simply leave the used towel on the bench and we will pick up. Waste pick up is simple and easy. You will find poop bags in our mailbox located just inside the entry gate. Please pick up and dispose of waste in the garbage pail found near the mailbox. We can't wait to welcome you to our Golden Dog Playground - an oasis set among the woods with distance from the road and neighbors.

Ruby’s Retreat for Reactive Dogs is a place where a dog can come to be dog. We have about .75 acres fenced with a ramp, oversized dig box, hideout, tether tug, (available upon request)kiddie pool and or splash pad. We also have about an acre of wooded trails that were created for Ruby and her brother’s daily sniff and strolls. Ruby was dog reactive which limited her outings, we would like to give other dogs the opportunity to be a dog with no stress and just be a dog. This spot is in memory of Ruby and her way of helping other dogs like her. Rocky (Ruby’s brother) and Ruby were the inspiration behind what we’d like to offer your dog. Thanks for checking us out 🐾🐾
