Description

Adventure and exploration awaits for all dogs, pups, and their humans! Over 80 acres of trails, creeks, woods, wetlands, open fields, hills, old homesites with old bottles, buried antiques and treasures, old stills, arrowheads, native plants and wildlife, lots of sniffing spots and beautiful untouched by modern day machinery and construction. Easily accessible and not too far from Short Pump in beautiful Goochland county Virginia. Improvements in progress so bear with me on amenities and be prepared to go back in time, before plastics and cell phones changed our world. Enjoy nature. 🍄🌲🪾🍁🪻🏞️🌞

Please stay away from the barn or enter at your own rush. It is falling down and soon to be gone. Keep to the left at the Y when coming in drive around to barn and park anywhere there. Watch for critters, snakes, spiders, bees, deer, racoons, opossums, and hawks, owls, birds, you know.... Nature. Enjoy!

Hi! We are excited to have a top spot that feels like walking back into the good old days, where nature and peaceful walks in the woods lead you and your best furry friends can enjoy something that most of us don't see everyday. Listen to the birds singing, butterflies flutter, and keep your eyes peeled for turkeys, deer, foxes, rabbits, groundhogs, and much more! My sweet baby girl Chloe keeps me busy and loves to let me know something is always out in the woods. Im originally from Waco, Texas and now im proud to call Virginia my home. Such a beautiful state. I love camping, exploring, collecting unique rocks and crystals and working on this old house. It was originally a Field School back in Late 1800's. Before that the Monacan Indians set up camps around the creeks. I personally have found about 3 Arrowheads along the trails after a good rain. Supposedly There were multiple moonshine stills around during prohibition! I absolutely love it here.

We have a 5 acre OFF LEASH area available, and an ON LEASH walking trail in the back of our property. We are pleased to invite you and your dog to our lovely fully fenced in area on our 12 acre property in the countryside of Montpelier, VA. 30 min from downtown Richmond, VA - come escape to the quiet and tranquil area we have set up and fenced off for dogs. An additional nature area for walking is available in the back; however, dogs MUST be leashed in this area, as it is not fully fenced back there. Walking trails have been cut and wildlife is often seen in our little sanctuary. Please be mindful of neighbors and leave the area as you found it. Be sure to close ALL gates before you leave & please pick up after your pet. Thank you! *No smoking while on premise, please and thank you!* Please practice Leave No Trace.
