Description

We are nestled in at the foothill of the HellGate Canyon, outside of the hustle and bustle of Missoula, where we have beautiful views of the mountains. Our area is surrounded by coniferous woodland that offers up the opportunity to see hawks, hummingbirds, squirrels, black bears, bighorn sheep, doves, and a variety of butterflies. We have a separate fenced vegetable garden and some lovely flower and fruit gardens. In the front yard, just under our large coniferous tree, sits the three seater garden swing with attached side tables, and a 4 seater round picnic table with folding chairs available. Weather permitting, we have a small fire pit that is open for guests to enjoy while the fur babies run around and play. Water is available for drinking and playing in through our well water spigot. Stainless steel water dishes are also available, or you can bring your dog’s favorite water bowl. We have a long handled waste rake and scoop set with a dog waste disposal bucket that sits near the vegetable garden fence line. Our bathroom facilities are emergency use only. ***Please be aware that this location is near a privately owned shooting range.

Please reach out if there are any accommodations needed for your visit. Wi-Fi is available upon request. Our local noise reduction hours are from 10pm-10am. Please be aware of any audio volume during your visit if you choose to listen to music, podcasts, audiobooks, etc. Smoking is permitted on the premises.

We are just west of Missoula with over 300 acres of wetland, hills, trees, fields, and streams. The north and south ends of the property have restrooms and there is so much to explore! Tons of things for dogs to sniff: ground squirrel holes, cow pies, animal tracks, etc. For the humans: we don’t spray chemicals and you’ll be hard-pressed to find a spot like this. Views of the M and the mountains surrounding the Grass Valley like you’ve never seen!
