Welcome to our natural wetland oasis. Bring your rain boots & explore our trails! We have 1/2 an acre of fully fenced backyard and another 2 1/2 acres of unfenced (or partially fenced) property & trails to explore. Our land is surrounded by streams and many more acres of protected county land. Park at the dead-end street and then walk through our gate by the bridge and enter the fenced-in area by our “Welcome Bear” through the Pumpkin Arch. Feel free to explore the front area down by the stream on your way out! ***PLEASE NOTE: We do have pet pigs and they will be visible to you and your dog. They are separately contained in their own fenced-in area, but it is wire fencing and you WILL see them. The pigs do not mind being barked at so that’s not a problem at all. If your dog(s) would like friends to play with, I have a beagle and small goldendoodle that are social and love to play with other pups. Knock on the front door and if I am home, they can come out and play for a while.

Feel free to bring a picnic, there are a number of peaceful places to rest and relax while your children and fur baby gets exercise, free play and plenty of Sniff Spot opportunities to wear them out!

Fully fenced backyard in Lake Forest Park, just 1 mile northwest of Third Place Books at the Towne Centre. The yard is grass, and the covered porch under the balcony is cement. A variety of toys are available in a plastic bin on the porch labeled Sniffspot for any interested pups. Some lawn chairs are also available on the porch for any humans, and two water bowl are present for thirsty pups after some hard play :). Spigot is located on the south-facing wall between the porch and some rose bushes. An unoccupied dog house across the yard under the tallest tree is also available for pups to duck into and explore.
