55I loved that the entire field was mowed so there was less of a chance of ticks, foxtails or any other dangers to pups! I have been to this Sniffspot a handful of times and it is always great. My dogs love being able to roam and run for acres!
35I have mixed feelings about this one. A lot of the grass was taller than I expected, and there were a lot of foxtails. I'm paranoid about grass seeds and foxtails, so I had to thoroughly check my dogs after our visit. One of my dogs seemed to enjoy running around the yard, but my other dog kept wanting to leave and did not explore like he normally does in new environments. At one point, the kids inside the house tapped on the windows, which triggered my dogs' barking. We left after about 30 minutes because we all seemed uneasy about the space. But maybe we just went on the wrong day. It is a large, fenced space in a quiet neighborhood.
55Huge and amazing fenced in yard! Plenty of shade and seating. Lovely owner who leaves dog water, a paw wash, doggy shampoo and towels out for the pups. My dogs love this Sniffspot so much and they sleep the rest of the day after playing here.
55You don’t need to look any further for the perfect Sniffspot for your dogs!! This is such a beautiful, huge property and excellent for wearing your dogs out. My two pups had a blast and we will be back again and again!! I have tried many Sniffspots and this one is my favorite by far. The entry is super easy and secure. The dogs have tons of space to play and run! There are lots of places for humans to sit and relax, plus plenty of shade. The owner was super kind and even left out a paw wash, doggy shampoo and towels on top of her hose since it was muddy the day I came by. Plus a huge bucket for doggy water. I cannot rave about this Sniffspot location and the owner enough!! Just take a look at how happy my dogs are! :)
55This is a lovely spot in the countryside with a great hill, trees, and big meadow area. Our pups enjoyed sniffing and romping. Thanks for making your great space available to us!
55Amazing property..there was more than enough space for my dog to run and they have an area with water for dogs to get a drink. We will definitely be going back.
55Very nice, quiet, spot to let the dogs run!

Hi! My name is Dawn and I’m a dog trainer CCPDT-KA here in Mt. Olive. My husband and I currently have 3 Australian shepherds that are all deaf but have no shortage of energy. The result is our fenced-in property! When it’s wet out please be careful on the hill as it’s easy to slip on the mud. Otherwise, we hope your dogs enjoy the property as much as ours do!

Ten acres of scenic, secluded, fully fenced pasture and woods with full access to all hiking trails and half acre pond. The property sits on ten private acres directly off Old Litchfield Trail in Litchfield, IL, and is full of trails for exploring that offer different and varied views of the property and surrounding area. From early spring to late fall, pollinator wildflowers will offer an ever changing colored landscape, along with the sights and sounds of bees, birds and butterflies. Be prepared for a good workout with your dog as you explore all the ins and outs of this unique property. One tip we can give you is If you see a path leading somewhere, take it, you never know what you may find at the end of it. Also try to go up top on the hilly property in the beginning of your hike and work your way down to the lower parts as you do the hike. You can see the property and surrounding area better at the higher elevations and get a better feel on how the property is set up. We walk or jog at least five laps of the entire property with our seven australian shepherds every day so we are used to all the challenges the property presents but it will be interesting to see how normal people and dogs handle everything. If you or your dog are faint of heart or not in proper physical condition, we recommend that you reconsider doing the property. You may need more than one hour to go over the whole thing with your dog so bring a snack with you and enjoy it while sitting at the picnic table by the pond. All we ask is that you maintain the cleanliness of the property as it should be spotless with regard to animal waste and trash except for an occasional present from our thoroughbred horse. Also, be safe in all that you and your dog do, navigating the property in its entirety can be a bit tricky at times and as always take proper precautions with tick preventatives for you and your dog, but most of all have some fun with your dog. One more thing, if you have young puppies or rescue dogs that have never experienced being released off leash in an open area like this, bring them and try it, they will have a great time and they will learn so much and gain confidence in what they are capable of doing physically and mentally. Let them go off leash and just follow them around as they explore the property on their terms. You will see a side of them you never knew they had.
