55Nice and shady and a perfect size for running around!
55Great spot! I was happy that it had a good amount of shade for hot days.
55Theo and Lucy had the best time!
55Kelly’s yard is very nice and a great size for running around in! We will for sure be back.
45Not recommended for people with reactive dogs. Listing says no other dogs can be seen or heard, but unfortunately that is not true. There is an older dog who lives next door, and while he is sweet, there is a section of chain link fence between the two yards that allows the dogs in both yards to come face to face. My dog is reactive and was highly stressed, so I had to leave after 20 minutes. The host’s yard itself is nice. It’s clean, decent sized, and flat. Plenty of space to throw a ball around. There are two chairs and a little table provided, as well as doggy bags.
55This was such a great time for me & my pup! The only thing that’ll add is that there is a sweet senior pup who lives Nextdoor / shares a fence. Only sharing for folks with reactive dogs that it might trigger them. Other than that, we had a wonderful time!
55I had an emergency and wasn’t able to come last minute, but the yard looks great and I’d love to come back another time!!
55Such a beautiful and clean area! I'll definitely be visiting again.
55A great spot to let your pup explore close to downtown! So nice on a sunny day with all the beautiful wild flowers. Will definitely be coming back.
55Absolutely great spot. My dog was so happy to play and relax here. The lawn is natural with little flowers and birds and stuff which makes for great sniffing. You can hear dogs in the neighborhood but can't see them. Can't wait to come back!

Great spot! I was happy that it had a good amount of shade for hot days.

Host replied: Thanks Cameron! I am also working on creating more shade as it gets hotter. I’m putting up a canvas awning in the next couple of weeks. Thanks for coming to my spot. 🐾

Host replied: Your dog is precious. Thanks for the note! That’s helpful. I adjusted my spot notes to be more specific about the neighbors dog, Penny. She’s a sweetie, but is visible thru fence when she’s out in their yard.

I had an emergency and wasn’t able to come last minute, but the yard looks great and I’d love to come back another time!!

Host replied: Sorry to hear that. No worries. Come back anytime!

I'm a dog lover with a big yard and no dogs currently. I only have a cat that acts like a dog. I would love for you and your pup to enjoy it. $5 your first visit with the code, Kelly2053.

Read on for details … we love sharing our secret place! This Sniffspot is very conveniently located in southeast Nashville, 20 minutes from downtown, right near Bell Rd/Nolensville Rd between the Hickory Hollow pkwy/Tanger Outlets i24 and Bell Rd exits and the Brentwood i65 Old Hickory Blvd exit. An idyllic setting offers 7+ park-like acres of old farm land, mostly fenced, that includes waterfront access to Mill Creek with adventures for all kinds of humans and dogs to enjoy activities like playing, running, sniffing, digging and playing in the water. Come get your steps in and spend some quality off-leash time! Training, photo shoots, picnics, birthday and gotcha parties, just explore, rest, or relax in the Adirondack chairs while your dogs sniff, zoom, roam, retrieve, sniff, dig, walk, run, and sniff some more. There's creek access to swim, pastures to nap, play areas of tall grass the dogs can explore, dig or derp around. Even plan your picnic on a blanket or use the picnic table. Get some exercise on the trampoline (Note: use at your own risk!). Make this sniffspot your private oasis for as long as you want.. Kids are always welcome! Just book your play time, bring at least one dog and all humans are free! Mill Creek borders the very back of the property and is available for water play but trees and vegetation and overall acreage makes it easily avoidable if that's not your thing. If you choose to venture to the creek and have a runner, you may want to bring a long lead. The water levels are usually below the knee, but the ability to use Mill Creek safely depends on you, the creek conditions, and amount of recent rainfall. Always assess the abilities of you and your pets- as safety comes first! As Dirty Harry once said, "A man's got to know his limitations." The majority of the property has fencing so once you pass the house on your way to the back fields it's off leash play time! I recommend consider walking the perimeter first (on or off leash) to orient yourself with property features and assess potential escape opportunities. Your dog(s) will benefit from a perimeter walk allowing them to visually identify, mark their spots, and collect sniffs while at the same time reaping the benefit of your pack leaving an invisible "bread crumb" scent trail as you walk which will assist a dog with future identification of the established boundaries as well. This is a natural instinct for many breeds. Note that Mill Creek along the back of the entire property is not fenced but it is mostly obscured at dogs level by trees and vegetation. Tip: When leaving, you may want to leash up before you reach the house - especially if you have a runner since there is no fence on the side of the house you enter and leave the spot. Depending on the water table, there is also a small feeder stream gently flowing through the middle of the property between the side and back fields. It can be great fun for a dog to explore and jump in and out of (just try and stop them!) And great for smaller dogs if Mill Creek is too intimidating. Hint: bring towels! The mature tree lines always provide plenty of shade for those hot summer months. Several foot bridges are available to cross over that small stream between the side and back fields while exploring, and you might even find the occasional old fashioned rope wood swing. 7Acres Challenge: See if you can find the hidden steps! A black hose with spray wand attachment is hanging by the house at the entrance/exit if you need to rinse you or your pet. Another green hose is available hanging on the opposite corner in the back of the house by the BACK garage door for your use along with a water bowl. Feel free to pick yourself wildflowers if they are blooming (late Spring/Summer Varieties), or snack on some blackberries off the fence line if you happen to come while they are ripening (usually mid-June to mid-July).... Bug spray is always recommended spring through fall, Just in case!
