55This is one of my favorite spots - the lawn is always well manicured, clean and in a nice quiet neighborhood. My two dogs always enjoy their visits 🐾
55Great size, clean, and a blast for energetic dogs!
55Another great day at JJ’s this is our favorite sniff spot and will happily make the 20 minute drive. The cleanest and most spacious yard and my dogs leave so happy every time !!
55Nice space, mowed and flat.
55Very nice area! Great yard with lots of room.
55Great open space, fully fenced in and provides lots of activities for pets to play, roam and sniff.
55Nice large fenced in yard. We used the agility field and my dog loved it! Everything is super clean. Great place to hangout with your dog! People were very friendly.
55We rented the agility field for the first time, and it was exactly the kind of space we needed. It had all the equipment we needed to work on, and my dog was able to focus in a quiet spot. We had the best time practicing what we needed to!
55Had a great time at JJ’s today this was Winston’s first time going to sniff spot he loved it

I am excited to share my yard with other dog owners who are looking to enrich their dogs’ lives. Most of the yard is available for free play and a separate fenced portion is available for agility practice.

Hound Hill Rustic 1 Acre Fenced Private Dog Park in West Avon

Find us on Facebook! Search: Hound Hill, 1 acre fenced private dog park in West Avon Hound Hill is a fully fenced one acre wooded doggy paradise. We have our own pack of four dogs and created this space for them. They use the large yard daily but will always be secured inside the house for the entirety of your visit. Hound hill is an unimproved wooded area, but we have cleared brush, leaves and sticks for easier walking and playing with your dog. Our fence is mesh critter fence which is wildlife friendly for the deer, bears, bobcats and other animals that travel through our property. If you are looking for a large space for fetch or just to let your dog explore then this is the place! Please note that the dog park is on a hill and there are no paved or flat areas within the park. It is recommended that you wear good shoes with traction and are comfortable walking through an unimproved wooded area. There are rocks, sticks, leaves and uneven terrain. If you have physical limitations this park may be very difficult for you to use. When you arrive please take time to walk the fence line with your dog on leash first to ensure the fence is intact. Due to the nature of critter fencing and the abundance of wildlife, we have had occasional breaks caused by deer and bear as well as branches that have fallen. If you spot any issue please message the host and they will immediately address the issue. We love this fence because it does not entangle the wild animals and is very easy to repair. This means we have to inspect it often, and we do, but for the safety of all we encourage each doggie chaperone to do their own visual inspection before allowing dogs free rein. We do treat the area with cedar oil for ticks. We do not use any herbicides or pesticides or fertilizer. Please pull all the way into the drive and park in the gravel spot to the left of the garage. There is marked parking for one vehicle. If you have additional vehicles please park the second vehicle in the culdesac and walk in. Do not block the garage doors. Enter and exit through the gate directly in front of the parking spot. Please do not use the gate on the other side of the lot for any reason. Please do not use the smaller fenced area directly off the back of the house. Please pick up after your dog. Removal of dog waste is imperative in order for us to continue to offer this spot. Water is available via the hose located on the fence near the trash can. The white plastic container can be filled as needed. Please dump the water when you are finished and place the bowl upside down to keep it from collecting rainwater. Thank you so much for visiting, I love seeing our clients and their dogs enjoy themselves so much while playing freely!
