Description

Grass! Dirt! Bark! Gravel! Pavers! Plants! There’s so much space to run, sniff and enjoy in our big, fully fenced-in backyard. Complete with (by default) a hose, a kiddie pool, a dog seesaw, a handmade pine picnic table, an umbrella, poop bags, a poop scooper, a lined trash bin, and an assortment of balls and toys— plus a whole lot of exciting extras possible with coordination. Our dog loves it here and yours will too. Come play!

Hazards

Lots of textures and uneven ground in the back yard, plus landscape ribbons of metal borders separating the grass/rocks/bark areas. We currently also have some tools (shovels etc) leaned against a wall in the back as the casita is under renovation.

With some heads up I can leave waters/sodas/sparkling waters etc in a cooler in the yard for you to help yourself!

Grooming Equipment$15

I am not a groomer, but I will share our grooming equipment for you to groom your dog(s)! We have multiple brushes, combs, and deshedding claws as well as shampoo, toothpaste and cleaning gel, Greenies, nail trimmers and a nail grinder. We also have paw balm and a terry head wrap to protect ears during bath time. You can use the kiddie pool and hose and we will provide towels as well.

If you feel like taking a walk in a new neighborhood before or after you use our yard, I have a few copies of hand-drawn (by me!) maps of our neighborhood with recommended walk-routes including distance, how busy each street is, whether or not there’s a sidewalk, where you might find obstacles or distractions like cats, or things like big public lawns, fire hydrants, free dog waste bags, an alley full of photos of neighborhood pets, and a street where you may even spot a neighborhood llama!

I’ll bake you homemade dog treats and human cookies so you and your dog can snack on yummy mesquite baked goods together as you enjoy our yard (and the mesquite trees in it!). Let me know if you or your dog have any food sensitivities or if you’d like me to send you an ingredient list! Mesquite is delicious and great for digestion, and naturally gluten free.

Pet Portraits$20

My boyfriend is an animal whisperer and an amazing pet portrait photographer. If the timing is right for his availability, we can set up time before, during, or after your yard play for him to snap a few pro photos of your dog(s)! He will send you digital copies of photos and lightly edit an agreed-upon number of them depending on how the session goes. Puzzles and Lickmats$10

I have a few Nina Ottosson Outward Hound puzzles I can leave out for your use, including “The Dog Tornado” “Dog Smart - Composite” “Treat Tumble” as well as multiple lick mats I can pre-freeze treats in if we chat!

Staked Long Lead$10

We have a strong 30’ long lead that will clip to your dog’s collar or harness on one end and stake/screw into the ground on the other end. Meant for large, strong dogs. You can use this in the back, or if you’d like to practice unfenced long lead training in the front yard.

Tunnel + Agility Set$10

10’ long 24” diameter agility tunnel with sandbags (sand not included, but I have weights if needed) 26” wide adjustable bar jump (pvc) 24” diameter hoop jump (pvc) Jumps adjustable to be up to 34” high Easy to set up in many configurations, and possible to use the pieces as beginner poles for learning weaving as well. Depending on preferences and availability, I can leave the bags out to be available to you, or help set up, or have it set up before you arrive. Let’s chat!

Hey! I’m Lauren. My boyfriend, cousin, dog, cat and I have an amazing, expansive corner lot near downtown Phoenix with bark, rocks, grass, dirt, mesquite trees (and hopefully lavender soon!). Our dog loves the yard and yours will too. Fully fenced, walled, gated, and safe! I also have a dog See-Saw, a fillable plastic kiddie pool, a hose, an agility kit with hoops, hurdles, and a tunnel, as well as countless balls and toys for you to use during your visit if you’d like. Come sniff and play!

Taylor's Fully Fenced Dog Water Park - Piestewa Peak

Hike Piestawa Peak and then swim and cool off in our fully fenced yard, with block walls, and our dog friendly swimming pool with Baja deck for standing, and steps on both ends for easy access/exit. Turf area for doing ‘business’ and we have floating and non-floating dog toys for play time. If we happen to be home, all blinds are pulled closed for privacy. Please note: There are 2 security cameras in back for your safety.

	Only one booking is allowed at a time at any spot and there is an enforced 30 min buffer between all bookings to ensure dogs in separate bookings do not meet.
