Turn down this beautiful, secluded, tree-lined drive and wind your way toward 36 acres of organic sniffing and running fields, rolling pastures, wooded acreage, spring-fed stream, saltwater pool (seasonal) and stocked pond. You’ll pass a historic two-story red barn built in 1890, blooming apple trees, bee hives, horse stable (with horse and sheep), and family house to this restored, historic 1890s main house. Beautiful native trees and a historic stone smokehouse. Sky-blue chicken coop and free ranging (fenced in) chickens. Look out the east for a beautiful view of the nearby stream. Additional viewable structures include a corn shed, two line sheds, outhouse and grain bins. The entrance to this unique property is secured with an electronic gate. Add the extra and fish at the stocked pond or swim in the 30ft saltwater pool! (Seasonal) Lots to do and see/sniff for pups and owners. Pond swimming is always included in hourly rate. This space includes a new, fully enclosed privacy fence, (Some photos may show the old fence), and an area for sitting while your dogs explore. The neighborhood is safe and rather quiet, but you will likely hear/see other dogs and people in the neighborhood and surrounding fences during your visit. Please avoid pups from digging in the yard and garden beds. The yard is pooper scooped frequently, but please pick up after your pups during your visit. :)

Welcome to my dog heaven! We have trees, fields, creeks and more! We are just in the beginning phases of our project, so hang in there with us to see what we build. There is old barbed wire fencing around the whole property, but we are working on gaining access to it to make repairs. Our goal is to be 100% fully fenced. My big goals are to add a dock diving pool, agility field, FastCat events, herding and more! To start, we are building our SniffSpot!!!! I would love to share this field of about 10 acres with you and your dogs! I would strongly recommend a good recall since we are not fully fenced yet. About me, I work in vet-med and spend my free time training and competing with my malinois and kelpies.

Paws and Smile Dog Park In Shawnee

We moved back to the KC recently and are in the process of turning our new home into a doggy wonderland. Our team of three runs a full time pet care company including doggy daycare, boarding, and drop in visits for all sorts of animal species. As pet care lovers and trainers, we understand the importance of having a private, secure space to work or be with your dog for whatever reason. Our backyard is fully fenced, at least our 5 lb chihuahua, daycare dogs, and dozens of sniffspotters have yet to find a way out. The back has a few smaller enclosed spaces, feel free to use any and all. While we try our best to maintain our yard, sometimes the grass gets high or there are fallen branches. If grass length is a deal breaker, just ask! We'll let you know if it's gotten high or is freshly mowed. There is a detached garage with an old chicken coop with a hole in the door in the middle of the yard. We're aware the hole is there, we don't have immediate plans to fix it, and we don't mind if your dog wanders into it. The yard backs up to the highway. It can get a little loud, but it's pretty much white noise to us and our dogs. Aside from the highway, it's generally a quiet spot. There is a smaller fenced in area of the backyard we use for dog training. You can use that or the main yard. There's a large circle drive at the entrance of our property. You can park inside the fenced yard (open double drive gate) or just outside of it (enter through pedestrian gate) . Near the carport are poo bags, our business cards, grooming wipes, a grooming towel, dog water bowls, and usually some extra tennis balls. Let us know if anything is missing or if trash cans are full! There's a trash can by the carport, as well as a waste station halfway down the yard (trash can and additional poo bags) and another in our smaller fenced in area. We have turned off the water spigots for the season, but happy to leave out a pitcher of water if you'd like! We don't have lighting in the backyard, but we can turn on the lights under the carport, should you ever desire. Feel free to move around chairs or table or use the swing. Note, this is our home and we're constantly working on our property. There are piles of firewood, wheelbarrows, and the occasional rake left out leaning against the shed.
