55Great spot for lots of sniffs and fetch without worry about any distractions. No solid fencing but enough bushes/trees to keep your dog contained as long as they will stick near you. Worth the drive out and will be back!
55What a great spot! So happy that it’s in Port Coquitlam :) a nice open area to sniff and play fetch. Our pup did react to some noises from the neighbors and dog barking in the distance, but once she gets more comfortable in this new area, this won’t be a problem. And a bear also joined us on the field for the last part of our sniff haha. Will definitely be coming back!

55I’m a pet photographer and was looking for a pretty location free from other dogs so I checked out this beautiful spot. It’s a lovely place to let your dogs sniff and play and take in a gorgeous sunset! Both my pups were pooped out after their visit. Thanks Austen for being a great host!
55We had a great time today at Austen’s Acreage! The property boundaries are clear once you arrive it’s easy to see where the fence is open to the adjacent properties. Our dog had no issues! Perfect spot for our dog reactive dog to sniff and explore without the worry of being charged by any off leash dog. While it is mostly an open field, there was a lovely shade spot to sit under trees on a couple chairs, giving us and our pup a break from the sun. We will be back!

Hazards

Wildlife Alert: There is the potential for Bears, coyotes or deer to wander through, although this typically happens at night. Please be aware and act accordingly if you see anything. It's a good idea to have good supportive footwear as the outer hay field can be a little bit rough. Lawn area is always kept nice and short, but the hay field varies in length, sometimes it's very short, but other times can be quite tall. A local farmer cuts the field every few months, but it's unpredictable when he comes. If you see a green tractor just move to the lawn area.

We compost waste so no bags needed. Just scoop and put into the provided bucket. Please do not leave your plastic poop bags here. We have no way to dispense of it. Plenty of room for ball. We will be adding more equipment as we go. Are you looking for help with training? We provide that too. Our fencing is best for medium and large dogs. It's not Chihuahua-proof yet. This spot is close to our home and we spend a lot of time outside working on our hobby farm, so odds are you'll see us around. We have chickens in the next fully fenced field over, so domestic animals can be seen and heard at all times. We also have a resident Black Lab, who much to his chagrin, will be kept inside during your visit. Our neighbors have a Yellow Lab who you might see through the shared fence on the north side. She's nosy.

Our fencing is best for medium and large dogs. It's not Chihuahua-proof yet. This spot is close to our home and we spend a lot of time outside working on our hobby farm, so odds are you'll see us around. We have chickens in the next fully fenced field over, so domestic animals can be seen and heard at all times. We also have a resident Black Lab, who much to his chagrin, will be kept inside during your visit. Our neighbors have a Yellow Lab who you might see through the shared fence on the north side. She's nosy.

We have added a picnic table and bench seating for you and play structure to keep you kids busy. For the dogs we have all sorts of fun activities, parkour and agility equipment. We will be adding more as we go. Pause table, training table, weave poles, A frame, tunnel, barrel jump, balance stools, jumps, ground tires, slide, teeter totter, cooling pool, hose, pooper scooper. We compost waste so no bags needed. Just scoop and put into the provided bucket. Please do not leave your plastic poop bags here. We have no way to dispense of it. Plenty of room for ball. We will be adding more equipment as we go. Are you looking for help with training? We provide that too. This is a farm setting but we are in a residential area so please cognizant of noise either by humans or dogs. It’s surrounded by trees for a nice private time. We look forward to hosting you!
