We offer a fully fenced private backyard oasis that is perfect for both dogs and their human friends!
We have 1/4 acre play yard that provides plenty of shade for our guests from the large oak tree on property.
Human guests are welcome to use the outdoor chairs on the deck that overlooks play area for dogs. Deck has gates so smaller dogs can have their own secure area if needed.
Muddy paws? No thanks! Our property has beautifully landscaped with turf, which is low maintenance for easy cleanup.
We provide water bowls, a hose (for quick clean up if needed), and a doggy trash can.
The Fire pit can be used but guests need to provider their own wood and kindling.

Got a big, energetic dog who needs a lot of space to run? You’ve found it! We are a haven for dogs with Strong Opinions about things! 🤗 Doesn’t love people? Come on over! Hates other pets? That’s cool! Lives to chase and eat squirrels and moles? We’re overrun, you do you! We are blessed with 12 gorgeous acres in the pasture.
We also have plenty of wildlife—depending on how rambunctious your dog might be, you may see otters, soft shelled turtles, tortoises, wood ducks, raccoons, armadillos, rabbits, and squirrels. We also have a plentiful supply of water birds—herons, egrets, and more.
Parking is on the left side of the road next to the fence. Please bring your own scoop and poop bags, water,and chairs.
PLEASE NOTE: We are specifically requesting that you do NOT come to our farm to “check us out” WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT. Please respect that is also our home, and we are closed to anyone who doesn’t have an appointment. Hi! Welcome to my backyard on Sun Star! My property sits on an acre with about 0.25ish fully fenced in. Additionally, in the back, there is a little private walking trail about 0.2acre of trail not fenced in that you are welcome to walk thru). Doggie cot on back patio to relax a minute and feel free to enjoy the shaded back deck. We are in a very quiet neighborhood, and the backyard provides a peaceful feel.
We do have a 42lb black lab mix that would stay with me inside during your stay (my office is upstairs and would be fully away from contact during your visit, (unless 1:1 dog interaction is desired- please just specify preference). I frequently take my Phoenix to the dog parks and he is very dog friendly.
