25It is a clean, good sized space that’s mostly secured, but both neighboring yards had dogs that bark and run along the fence. On one side, the dog kept lunging into the fence and shaking it. On the other side, there is a gap where the dogs can see each other and one of the neighbor’s dogs can fence guard/fight. The entry gate has a gap on the bottom that small dogs can fit through. We blocked it with a chair and it was good enough to contain even our “escape artist” dog, but our dog is around 20lbs so for smaller dogs who don’t have good recall it might not be enough. The host seemed nice and if you have a dog that doesn’t care about other barking dogs nearby, this could be a great spot for you. We use sniffspot mostly because our dog can be anxious around other dogs. In the beginning our dog enjoyed sniffing and running around, but once the other dogs noticed him and started barking/growling at him through the fence, he became increasingly more scared, so we had to leave early. We wish that it was clearer in the listing that there were other dogs in close proximity. The host also has a dog that was inside during our visit, he barked once or twice when we were coming in and leaving but he was otherwise quiet and our dog was not bothered by him.
55The yard was spacious enough for my dog and I to play and release his high energy. The host was very hospitable and left water/doggy bags just in case. Would love to come back again.
