55The space was exactly as described. We went at 11 am on a Wednesday and it was super quiet. We heard some dogs, buses and construction in the distance but nothing that bothered my noise sensitive dog. I appreciated the variety of toys. My guy is a shredder so we did destroy a couple toys but I brought some of his old tennis balls to trade. The fence on one side is low and has slats so if your dog is a jumper you might want to have your dog on a leash drag. There were some foxtails and other pokeys in the dirt (probably just leftover from weeds or being blown in) but my dog has short fur so it was easy to spot them and pick them off. It was a super cool space and I will definitely be back!
55Large and spacious backyard with plenty of trees and shrubbery for your dog to wander around and sniff. The space was clean and had several dog toys scattered around for your dog to place with. The neighbor to the right with a balcony overlooking the backyard has a dog that barks at yours. It didn’t cause any issues for me, but wanted to flag that for any reactive dog owners who might be interested. Overall, my dog and I had a great time sitting outside and enjoying the warm weather.
55Lots of toys and just enough space for Lola to run around a bit plus a lot to explore and sniff!
45Nice spot! Easy to find, park, and access. Incredibly large yard for SF. A well-kept and peaceful place to hang out for an hour. Water was available too. Currently, more dry/dusty dirt than grass/greenery but can’t fault the owners for a drought-like summer, and a little more tiered than we expected, but we’ll definitely be back. Thanks for letting us visit!
55Oh my goodness, Nina's spot is heaven sent! It’s beautiful, spacious, fully fenced, safe, and so peaceful. It’s truly life-changing for my pup to have a secure place to run, explore, and play. We’re so grateful to have found this spot, and the fact that we’re indirectly contributing to the ASPCA thanks to Nina’s generosity is the icing on the cake. We can't wait to come back many more times!
55Great huge sniffspot for our pup to zoomie and roam around. She loved it! It was also easy to access and well maintained with seating for us to relax while our pup explored.
55Nice long yard to run with a great view and lots of nooks and crannies to sniff around in. We had a great time!
25Booked for 1 hour and left around 30 ish minutes due to the neighbors’ dog barking. The first time the dog was out on the balcony, it was barking a lot and I was able to recall just fine the first 2 times. The 3rd time I tried to recall, I had to pull my mom’s dog off the fence where the neighbors’ dog was. Their human put them back in the house but let them out again and the barking began again and put them back in again due to too much barking on both ends. By this time I decided to leave because my mom’s dog is reactive and he was no longer listening to recalls or demands and was demonstrating stressed out behavior. I assume their human came home from work and was just trying to let their dog out on the balcony after a long day. I would say to consider booking before 6pm if you have a reactive dog. The neighbors dog is tiny but a mighty voice and echoing can make matters worse for a reactive dog.
45Some barking was heard and was enhanced due to echoing in the surrounding area but nothing too distracting.
35Unfortunately the yard was full of foxtails and we had to leave early. Otherwise the space was as described.

Very quiet neighborhood. Lots of people walking their dogs on leashes around the area. You may encounter another dog and owner on the sidewalk outside of my yard.

Private 2 Acre Forest Trail and Swimming Hole In Rural Woodside

This is a private, undeveloped, forested spot. If you are interested in this spot, you and your dog should be up for a mini adventure. This spot is not a manicured, backyard park. It is wild and beautiful, and a rare find in this area. THERE IS NO TRASH SERVICE AT THIS FOREST LOCATION. PACK EVERYTHING OUT WITH YOU, INCLUDING DOG POOP BAGGIES. The trail starts at the west (downhill) end of the parking spot, and winds downhill to the creek (there are a couple of switchbacks). The trail from the parking area to the creek is less than 5 minutes long. At the bottom of the trail, is a deck. Beyond the deck is a year-round creek with a swimming hole. There are fish, frogs, newts, and crawdads. All wildlife is protected, so please don't catch or remove them. You may walk up and down along the creek exploring, as long as you turn around if you see a waterfall downstream or a house in the distance. The trail that leads downhill to the creek is intermediate, not for beginners or flip-flops. There should be no poison oak or ticks on the trail, but if you venture off the trail, you may encounter poison oak or ticks. There are blackberry bushes to the sides of the trail that resemble poison oak. There should be no foxtails. You may see wild animals. As a wild spot, you may encounter typical hazards that are present in most local forest trails, such as wildlife, water, and trip-and-fall hazards. This is a private spot, and there should be no other people or dogs during your booking. If you see someone during your booking, please let us know as soon as possible, so that we can take steps to prevent them from trespassing again. There is no lighting at this spot, so if you book before sunrise or after sunset, please bring a headlamp or flashlight. There is no trash collection service at this location, so please pack out any trash. Thank you!
