55Spacious, comfortable spot for the dog to romp. No sight of the neighbors' dogs, which was a relief as we weren't quite sure what to expect--our dog is pretty reactive to other dogs. She was off leash for most of the entire hour and had a blast exploring and chasing the ball. The yard has a number of features of great interest to a dog, including a bamboo clump she was able to disappear under, leaf piles, bare dirt to stick her snout into. The fencing was more than adequate to allay any fears of escape. We'll definitely be back.
45I brought my 6 month old lab mix to get some playtime and she had a great time! The yard was nice and large so she could run around and get her energy out! There were also a few balls in the yard, which was fantastic as I forgot to bring one along! We went shortly after the snow so it was a little muddy, but that can't really be helped lol! Pups are masters at finding all things gross and mine found a dead rat or mouse behind the shed. I notified the owner and they promptly responded they'd take care of it! The directions to get in were very helpful, though I did have a little trouble getting the gate open at first. Overall, I'd return to Frank's Paradise for another play session!
55The yard was perfect for our dog. It is spacious, fenced in, well-shaded in parts, etc. There was even a box of balls and dog toys to borrow if you forgot some, though we brought our own. It was quiet without distractions and parking was easy. We will definitely visit Frank’s Paradise again!
55What a blast! I already can’t wait to come back. The environment was so calm, my dogs who are usually overwhelmed by lots of sound were able to totally relax while we played a nice game of fetch. The yard is quite large, and there was a nice chair to sit in while the pups run around. Fencing is tall and you can’t see through any slats, except for the farthest side of the yard where there’s more sparse fencing- although the owners of the house have been kind enough to put netting along the bottom so there’s no opportunity for your dog to get out.
55This is a huge yard for the city, fantastic for fetch and letting your dogs sniff around. My pups raced around the yard the whole time we were there trying to take in all the smells. They had a blast and left tired. There were a couple neighbor noises but for the most part it was very quiet. The fence is generally secure but Mike let me know that part of it blew down in the windstorm last night and they had made temporary repairs with plans for more. The fence at the back of the property is 3-4 feet high and has gaps with wire fencing to keep small dogs from getting out, but if your dog can jump they may be able to clear it. Mike is amazing, very friendly. He grew up with dogs and his girlfriend Maggie works at a local vet clinic.
45Frank and his Paradise are gems. Vincey got some great exercise and sniff time. The little neighbor dog mentioned in other reviews made his appearance and snarling quickly ensued. The fence was a good barrier though and Vince quickly regained his composure. Next time, we will use neighbor dog as a training opportunity.
45Great spot! A large, open, rectangular yard. A few things for the dogs to sniff around (small shed, large tree, etc). The neighbors have three or so small, barky dogs but our foster dog who is reactive on-leash didn't mind.
45My dog and I enjoyed Frank's Paradise. The grass was green and my dog found plenty of interesting things to sniff. Even though the chairs weren't totally clean I can't wait to go back with my dog.
55First time user and it couldn’t have been easier and more convenient. The instructions were accurate. The only minor question was entering the wooden gate as it wasn’t clear to pull or push and we didn’t want to damage anything accidentally. Once in, we had a fantastic time. Everything was enclosed. There were no other dogs or squirrels around. Yard was big enough for plenty of fetch and lots great spots to sniff. We couldn’t be happier. Our pooch is as pooped and happy as can be. Excited to do it again. Thanks
55Frank's paradise was awesome! We visited in the snow, and the dogs loved it. The yard was large for its proximity to the city, and was more than enough space for our pup to tire himself out.

Description

Long and cozy yard in South Seattle! Close to light rail and EZ drive from I-5. About 150x40 ft, with trees and bushes, and a garden to sniff in - and a couple folding chairs for you! Most of fence is 6ft, rear sections ~4.5ft.

Hazards

There's a junk pile behind the shed, but nothing really that dangerous there. Some blackberry seedlings scattered around, but they're tiny compared to most patches.
