45The description was accurate. Shaded space, fenced in. I didn’t realized that it had a small obstacle, a fire-pit, in the middle of the run way. So while the space is nice, it doesn’t work for my dog.
45Shady area was nice ,as it was warm today. Fresh water and fun toys available
55The yard was big and well fenced. Communication was friendly and responsive.
55The spot has a very nice big backyard that's fully fenced. The host provided bottled waters, snack bars, and even a little bag of dog treats. We visited the spot because we were having construction done on our home this week and we wanted to get our dog away from the loud noises for a little bit. Our dog was already so stressed at home that when we took him to the spot he was still very stressed so we couldn't stay long. However, I do think that this is a great spot for a dog that's just having a normal day haha.
55Great spot for the pups to sniff and run!
55Had a fantastic time with my pup
55Lots of smells from other pup visits! My dogs had a great time checking all the pee-mails. A perfect size for getting the wiggles out and playing ball. A+
55Very good instructions on arrival and my dog loved it!
55This was our first Sniffspot experience and it was amazing! Our dog had tons of fun. There was lots of space for him to run. Definitely heard the dogs barking inside but we weren’t bothered by them. Thank you!
55Very clean and quiet!! Thank you for the water. We had a good time :)

Description

Off street parking with private driveway pull in slow so it doesnt scrape. Fully fenced in yard with gate access please access on the left by pulling the string to open the latch. If it's past dark bring a flashlight or latern because it is very big and dark. The back porch light keeps the porch well lit but that is the extent. It is kept clean and maintained. Please clean up after your pups. It is very big 9147sq feet right under .25 acre and I'm so happy to get to share the space with some deserving pups. My pups will be inside but will most likely bark at dogs from excitment knowing they are outside. You can ignore the cute white fluff balls i hope it isnt a problem. Enjoy! Ps. Pics of string to open gate and push hard! And which gate to go through to get inside yard :) Yard does have surveillance** and I am not responsible for injuries and accidents you occur while on the property**

Jasper Memorial Sanctuary Reopening Soon

**Finally, Jasper Memorial Sanctuary is ready to host dogs. The recovery of this area following the January storm has been extensive. Please be mindful of the scope of the damage and tread lightly to allow the land to recover. As new trees and shrubs are planted in the fall, please ensure that they are not damaged by dogs. There will be ongoing logging on most weekdays on our property and adjacent neighbor's property. I will keep the Sanctuary closed during some of this time as the logger brings his dog to work. The cost to recover/rebuild Jasper Memorial Sanctuary was extensive. Material costs were over $5000. Labor costs, had I hired all the hours worked, are over $15,000. The price increase for utilizing the Sanctuary is small in comparison to the expenses incurred from the loss. Thank you to all my amazing guests who have given your dog(s) opportunity to find their calm within by visiting Jasper Memorial Sanctuary. It is amazing to see your dogs and you finding your inner peace. Thank you too for following all of the rules to keep this SS sustainable into the future. The fee set is the amount needed to allow me to keep this site open and provide improvements when needed. (I understand other sites charge less, but I've learned charging less is not financially sustainable. Hosts do not earn what they charge). I love hosting new and returning guests. RECENT IMPROVEMENTS/RESTORATION: Approximately 80 damaged/downed trees removed. 40 uprooted stumps ground out 340' of new 5' fencing installed 140' fencing repaired New entrance gate/location created 100s perhaps 1000s of poison oak dug out (it's still present, just fewer) Culvert installed at entrance with gravel path to gate New signs installed A 6'x6' sand box has been added. Please encourage digging in this location only. Discourage digging in all other locations for the safety of everyone. A poop bag dispenser has been installed on a post near the gate and will be kept filled. MEMBERSHIP AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST to repeat/returning guests after we have met. Please message me if interested. Jasper Memorial Sanctuary, named in memory of my soul dog Jasper, is no larger than 1.3 acres in and fully fenced.
