Ruby’s Retreat for Reactive Dogs is a place where a dog can come to be dog. We have about .75 acres fenced with a ramp, oversized dig box, hideout, tether tug, (available upon request)kiddie pool and or splash pad. We also have about an acre of wooded trails that were created for Ruby and her brother’s daily sniff and strolls. Ruby was dog reactive which limited her outings, we would like to give other dogs the opportunity to be a dog with no stress and just be a dog. This spot is in memory of Ruby and her way of helping other dogs like her. Rocky (Ruby’s brother) and Ruby were the inspiration behind what we’d like to offer your dog. Thanks for checking us out 🐾🐾

There are dogs on property due to my dog exercise business but they will be secured during your visit. Our Sniffspot is a safe, private place to exercise or train with your dog, or simply let them experience a new place and get a ton of good sniffing in!  The yard is fully fenced with 6' high solid wood panels. There are trees for shade, rocks and obstacles to climb on, toys to play with, and some agility equipment. We also plan to open up our short trail in the woods soon!  *NOTE: We have dogs of our own inside the house and sometimes boarding dogs in the business building. They won't be visible from the Sniffspot yard or outside at all while you're there, but occasionally they may bark and can be heard from in the yard. But we try our best to minimize any barking.  There is a buffer between all bookings to ensure dogs in separate bookings do not meet. Dogs must be vaccinated and free of parasites. Please make sure your dog is on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. You must pick up your dog's waste – there is a scooper and trash can for disposal. Questions? Fully fenced in approximately two acres. We now have lighting for nighttime use. Remote switch for lights is located on the bulletin board in the barn. Approximately five times around the property perimeter equals a mile. We have chuck-it throws and balls, many toys, sand/digging areas, pools and agility equipment in a large fenced area for you and your dog to romp around. Main entrance to the yard can be found by entering the second driveway and parking in the designated parking area in front of the solar barn. Our fenced in property with a orchard and large open space has been adored by many dogs and other pets we have cared for many years. We respect and understand how important it is to interact with your dog in a protected safe area with out worry of having a stressful issue with your dog and another dog or person. However we do live in a location which our neighbors dogs can be seen or heard. So if your dog is reactive to other dogs our spot might not be a right fit. We live on a private road and the traffic is limited. However, UPS and Fedex do make deliveries so that is something to consider if your dog has issues. All dogs that visit our yard appear to go home happy and content and always run straight for the yard when they come back!

15+ acres of fields, woods, a beaver pond and access to the White River

Welcome to Canine Connection! We are a fully indoor space to rent. We provide approx. 4000 sq. ft. play area with toys and complimentary coffee/water and tea for guests. We have basic agility equipment, sanitary stations in case of accidents, and pet first aid kits readily available. We hope your pups and you enjoy playing in our space!

We are conveniently located off of Interstate’s 89 and 91, great for travelers who are passing through and whose pups need a break from the car ride! We have 2 lovable dogs who enjoy our fully fenced in front yard. We have 2 shade trees, water available as well as chairs for their humans. We are located in a neighborhood with frequent dog walkers and kids playing.

Situated on a scenic working farm, the Pooch Playground spans about 1/4 acre and is fully enclosed. Tucked next to a small woodland area, this location offers enough distance from the house and barn for a feeling of privacy. The field adjacent to the area is preserved for wildlife. We mow the spot every week, except during drought conditions. We purposely maintain longer grass (2-3 inches instead of cutting it too short) to withstand high traffic and dog urine. We leave 'islands' of grass long for sniffing and exploration. Look at the pictures of the spot. If a toy ends up in the field and you don't want to walk through the tall grass, let us know, and we will retrieve it.
