55Absolutely love this spot!
45Thanks for making this trail available! Lovely area with a pretty brook for puppy wading. Due to weather it was a bit muddy and slippery but no bugs which was great!
55I had no idea there were trails behind our favorite sniffspot! 😊 we had a great time exploring and splashing in the brook. Thank you for sharing your beautiful space, Lynn & Mike!
55Our dogs (and us) had a blast!!
55Great spot to explore with your dog if you’re looking to avoid other dogs or get in a nice decompression hike. We did about a mile up with 741ft of elevation gain. The trail was pretty well marked, but does shift from hiking trail to ATV trail, which was pretty washed out and muddy after all the rain. Definitely nice having the brook with a few good access points, but it’s for sure a hike. There looked to be a few trails near the bottom that might loop back around, but no markings. It would be a nice addition for anyone not up for a steep hike, overall good spot for anyone with reactive dogs.
55Amazing hike, my dog and i both got an excellent workout! Having the brook to cool off in along the way was great. I will be back!
55Beautiful hike with lots of water play for dogs!
55Great experience. Trail was well marked, private, shaded, and the brook running along the trail was great on a hot day. Herbie loved it.
55incredible, the trail was a real calf-burner but it was so much fun. we got to work on off leash behavior and recall in a place that felt open and private. we throughly enjoyed the experience and will be back. our first reservation was 2 hours and i wish we'd reserved 3!
55Great spot! Uphill hike but the dogs loved it, including the brook that ran aside the trail was a nice perk for them.

Description

A private hiking trail for dogs and their owners 🐾 there will not be any other dogs out on the trail. Our trail is located in Bolton (Waterbury address). It’s is approximately 1 mile up the mountain. There is a Brook that follows the trail most of the way up. The trail starts out with a nice mowed path and leads you into a beautiful canopy of trees as you head into the woods and it quickly turns into a steep uphill hike. We have 135 acres for you to adventure on ! Please follow the signs for the trail head parking - go all the way past the house and you will see a sign on your right.

Cleanliness

100% of guests said this spot was as clean as expected during their visit.

Hazards

The trail can be steep in several places so wear appropriate footwear. We recommend bug spray during spring and fall. It can be muddy in some places but overall the trail is relatively dry as it is mostly uphill.
