With the river running low and the landscape in its natural cold‑weather state, this spot offers a quiet, rustic adventure for curious dogs and their humans. 🍂 Seasonal Notes for Winter Visitors Amenities are limited during winter. The porta‑potty and certain comfort features are unavailable until late spring, so please plan ahead. Natural ground cover is present. Fallen leaves, burs, and seasonal debris may be found throughout the property. These are part of the natural environment, and we encourage guests to book with awareness of winter conditions. Outdoor furniture is simplified for the season. Our table and chairs remain available, but umbrellas and shade features have been stored. River conditions vary. The water level is very low in winter, and edges may be icy or uneven. The fence is not visible from the driveway, but on the backside of the Hills, there is a farm fence to enclose the property. For clarity just keep your pups in the hayfield area and hillsides. For added security, a fully enclosed 10,000 sq ft area with a gate is available. Venture to the far side for a hike and discover two chairs perched atop the hill, offering an idyllic spot to admire the sunset. As a first-time guest, I'm happy to greet you upon request.
