The trail was very well marked and easy to access, sniffspot just had the address weird on its main page for some reason—no fault of the host, but she resolved the issue promptly. 55The area matches the description exactly. We only did the small loop because we had a stroller and two dogs to manage between my husband and I. It was a bit tough for a stroller because of the hills and a small down tree, but we knew that head of time. Overall, the trail was nice and clearly marked. There was a dog outside the house when we arrived, but they respected the invisible fence that is a good distance from the trail.
This is a great place to take my reactive dog that used to love hiking at state parks. As he's gotten older he's less tolerant of strangers, so this Sniffspot is perfect for him.Effie K.

🌳🌲Welcome to Wynshire Woods! 🌲🌳
We feel so blessed to call this property our home, and would love for others to experience the beautiful nature we get to enjoy each day. Wynshire Woods includes over a mile of trails, fallen trees to sniff, hills to climb, and ravines to explore. Our 49 acre property is nestled in the woods, 1/4 of a mile off of the road with parking near our metal barn at the bottom of our driveway.
We have over a mile of beautiful trails through hills and trees, with a short and long trail option. The long trail is about a mile long and takes 40-60 minutes to walk. The short trail is closer to 1/3-1/2 miles and takes around 25 minutes to walk.
We hope your dog(s) enjoy all the sights, sounds and smells throughout the woods- we have wild turkey, deer, many small wild animals to see, and and have him/her/them go home tired, satisfied and happy.

We are going into hunting season, and will be closed on the weekends so my husband can hunt. I will make sure any additional days he’s hunting I have the spot blocked off.
For extra precaution (because there are properties neighboring us that people hunt), dogs should be kept on leash through hunting season (Oct 1-Dec 31).
I’ve also purchased 2 orange dog vests that I’ll hang up in the hay barn/hut by the parking area that you can use while walking. (You may want to wear an orange hat as well).
Just to be clear- no one will be hunting on our property when the trail has open days. I just want to be extra cautious because there are fields/woods outside our property that people do hunt. 😁.

Hazards
• Mud after it rains (it’s totally still hikeable!)
• Some pricker bushes and burrs along side of one part of the trail (we work to remove this as we can because we don’t enjoy them either lol!)
• Hills (nothing super steep- they resemble a decent sledding hill) but if you have trouble walking inclines this might be a struggle
