55Great spot! Even better than the photos.
55We loved it! The area is very well maintained and fence is high and secure all around. It is (mostly) a chain link fence so we could see people walking their dogs through it, but they were far enough away that Stitch, whoā€™s pretty reactive, was able to calmly look at them and turn away and keep sniffing. Itā€™s a nice mix of grass and trees and so thereā€™s plenty to sniff and explore. Stitch prefers to just hang out and do his own thing (absolutely will not play fetch) so sometimes I worry there wonā€™t be enough for him to explore but he kept himself busy the whole time we were there. Thereā€™s some tennis balls, a tunnel, agility jumps, etc. in the area to use if your dog is into that! Overall, we had a great time and will definitely be back!
55My energetic dog and I had a great time running in Amanda's dog park! I love the high fence and all of the actual sniff spots - not just grass but trees, leaves, and other ground cover. My dog was too interested in sniffing to play ball!!
55Appreciated the tall fence. My dog had fun sniffing around.
35Great location but unfortunately it was impossible to play without stepping in other dogā€™s waste. My husband spent most of our visit scooping so our dogs wouldnā€™t run through any poop. Even so, both dogs ended up running though poop and needed baths.
55Spot was open with room for running and frisbee. Our pup enjoyed herself!
55Nice and mostly private, great fence and land
55Perfect yard for a dog to get some exercise. Weā€™ll be back.
55Very clean and secure, large yard. My dogs had a great time sniffing and chasing a tennis ball will definitely come back again!
55Very nice and big fenced in yard. Appreciated the chairs too!

Wynshire Woods Dog Trail In Whitmore Lake

šŸŒ³šŸŒ²Welcome to Wynshire Woods! šŸŒ²šŸŒ³ We feel so blessed to call this property our home, and would love for others to experience the beautiful nature we get to enjoy each day. Wynshire Woods includes over a mile of trails, fallen trees to sniff, hills to climb, and ravines to explore. Our 49 acre property is nestled in the woods, 1/4 of a mile off of the road with parking near our metal barn at the bottom of our driveway. We have over a mile of beautiful trails through hills and trees, with a short and long trail option. The long trail is about a mile long and takes 40-60 minutes to walk. The short trail is closer to 1/3-1/2 miles and takes around 25 minutes to walk. We hope your dog(s) enjoy all the sights, sounds and smells throughout the woods- we have wild turkey, deer, many small wild animals to see, and and have him/her/them go home tired, satisfied and happy. This is a completely unfenced property, and wildlife and farm animals are abundant. Because we have free range chickens and goats up near our home, all dogs must be leashed or on a long line. Part of the trail does go past our fenced goat area. Any dogs who enter our farm area and hurt or traumatize animals will be fined. We do have 4 dogs who are contained to an invisible fence which does not have access to the trails. As long as your dog does not come into their area, there will be no other dog interactions on our property. šŸ”øšŸ”øšŸ”øšŸ”øšŸ”ø We are going into hunting season, and will be closed on the weekends so my husband can hunt. I will make sure any additional days heā€™s hunting I have the spot blocked off. For extra precaution (because there are properties neighboring us that people hunt), dogs should be kept on leash through hunting season (Oct 1-Dec 31). Iā€™ve also purchased 2 orange dog vests that Iā€™ll hang up in the hay barn/hut by the parking area that you can use while walking. (You may want to wear an orange hat as well). Just to be clear- no one will be hunting on our property when the trail has open days. I just want to be extra cautious because there are fields/woods outside our property that people do hunt. šŸ˜.
