55Owner was very friendly and it was easy to understand where to park, the property boundaries, etc. Very nice spot for trained dogs to be off leash. My older dog has lost her tolerance for meeting new dogs so this was a great safe space for her. Plenty of room for my younger dog to run around and get tired, not too much room for an older dog to still make it around the property a time or two. Madelaine O.

55This is a great spot for dogs to run and explore. There's so much for dogs to interact with around the property; scents, objects, platforms, different terrains, it's a sensory wonderland for dogs!
We saw one dog 100+ ft away on a neighboring property but was no issue to avoid by simply going the other direction. I didn't explore the entire area because I was worried about accidentally wandering off property but my dogs had a blast in the parts we did explore. Lillian I.

55This is a fantastic sniff spot! The host was super responsive and followed our request to not greet us and our reactive pup. We saw a runner and their dog go by on the main road, but that road doesn't seem highly trafficked and it would be easy to keep the road out of view. There were many smells for our dog to investigate and plenty of open space to play some fetch or sit in the sun.Emily B.

55Dogs were very engaged in sniffing on this property and had a good time. We did see an off-leash dog far away on the west side (more than 50ft away) on a neighboring property and a lot of deer. We kept our dogs on long lines as they don't have reliable recall yet. Tyacie C.

55Wonderful property for off leash trained dogs! The property was so quiet and peaceful while we were there which was great for my reactive pup. There seemed to be so many new smells that my dog was tired after just a half hour! Just be aware if you have a dog that eats everything there is a bit of rabbit poop throughout and tree acorns/droppings. But my dog didn’t have a problem with it Megan R.

55Amazing spot! We will be back! Was so enjoyable to walk around and let our dog free knowing it is just us out there. Even though it is not fully fenced it is pretty enclosed especially in the back part of the land. Leslie was great and easy to communicate with!! Anissa U.

FAQ About Ann Arbor Dog Parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 11% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Ann Arbor area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 471 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 795 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
