55We took our dog along with our son and his 2 dogs to this Sniff Spot. We absolutely love it! The dogs have a great time. Everything you need is provided along with some nice perks like hand warmers. I highly recommend this sniff spot!
55Our pup enjoyed his day at the sniff spot! It was very clean and well organized. Would love to check it out again in a different season
55Such a nice setup with all the necessary amenities and then some!
55Had a great time with my dog and best friend today. It was even snowing which was awesome because my dog loves, loves, loves the snow and playing in it. Can’t wait to come back again next week. 🐶🙂
55This place was amazing! This was the first time my dog has ever been to a place like this, and she had a a great time, sniffing all the ground and running around and she had a blast! Definitely highly recommended five stars if you need a place to bring your dog to burn off some energy this is the place to come!
55Jaclyn is AMAZING! Very quick to respond. The facilities are amazing! More than enough room to run and play. My 2 dogs, 2 grandsons, son and husband thoroughly enjoyed all the activities, props, toys, etc. We will definitely be making this a regular and hopefully weekly play spot. We have access to a nice huge dog park, but we don't want to drive 25 min every time we go. Jaclyn is a quick 5 min away.
55Loved this spot even more the second time around. Jaclyn is a very gracious host and the accommodations are more than you and your pups could ever hope for! :)
55It's our favorite place to go play. Always clean with lots of toys. Quiet and just an overall awesome spot!
55This sniff spot was well thought out and the perfect neutral ground for my dog to meet her new foster brother. (Drop by Michigan Humane to foster any of their large adult adoptable dogs for a day or up to a week to give them a break from the shelter!) Despite being only 0.25 acre it was very functional with plenty of space to run. I especially loved the raised pedestals for the pups to hop on to. Very rare to have access to hand warmers and an outdoor heater as well! We will definitely be back again. Thank you!
55Super fun spot! Very thoughtful to have water and toys available, as well as nice amenities such as a heater and photo backdrop. Lots of room for our dog to run around. Thanks for having us!

My dogs will be kept inside and away from windows during your visit. You may hear them momentarily if your dog barks, but they settle quickly. We do have neighbors with dogs but when outside, they generally stay on their property and do not approach. That said, they will occasionally bark. We have a privacy screen on that portion of the fence to reduce distractions.

There is a horse farm across our road, the horses are sometimes heard and seen in the pasture visible from our yard. Our neighbor also has chickens and a rooster. They are not visible but you will hear the rooster.

We have neighbors but the area is generally very quiet. Just the occasional car down the road, usually Amazon coming to one of our houses. We do live here so may occasionally be outside during your visit. While we do try our best to limit distractions during your visit, it may be unavoidable sometimes. I will always try to give a guest advanced notice if we will be seen or heard during a visit, so they can plan accordingly .

Wynshire Woods Dog Trail In Whitmore Lake

🌳🌲Welcome to Wynshire Woods! 🌲🌳 We feel so blessed to call this property our home, and would love for others to experience the beautiful nature we get to enjoy each day. Wynshire Woods includes over a mile of trails, fallen trees to sniff, hills to climb, and ravines to explore. Our 49 acre property is nestled in the woods, 1/4 of a mile off of the road with parking near our metal barn at the bottom of our driveway. We have over a mile of beautiful trails through hills and trees, with a short and long trail option. The long trail is about a mile long and takes 40-60 minutes to walk. The short trail is closer to 1/3-1/2 miles and takes around 25 minutes to walk. We hope your dog(s) enjoy all the sights, sounds and smells throughout the woods- we have wild turkey, deer, many small wild animals to see, and and have him/her/them go home tired, satisfied and happy. This is a completely unfenced property, and wildlife and farm animals are abundant. Because we have free range chickens and goats up near our home, all dogs must be leashed or on a long line. Part of the trail does go past our fenced goat area. Any dogs who enter our farm area and hurt or traumatize animals will be fined. We do have 4 dogs who are contained to an invisible fence which does not have access to the trails. As long as your dog does not come into their area, there will be no other dog interactions on our property. 🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸 We are going into hunting season, and will be closed on the weekends so my husband can hunt. I will make sure any additional days he’s hunting I have the spot blocked off. For extra precaution (because there are properties neighboring us that people hunt), dogs should be kept on leash through hunting season (Oct 1-Dec 31). I’ve also purchased 2 orange dog vests that I’ll hang up in the hay barn/hut by the parking area that you can use while walking. (You may want to wear an orange hat as well). Just to be clear- no one will be hunting on our property when the trail has open days. I just want to be extra cautious because there are fields/woods outside our property that people do hunt. 😁.
