The back property is L-shaped. The majority is open space so plenty of room for zoomies and catch. There is some bushes, wild areas, and trees to experience new smells, and play hide-n-seek. FYI - Bring water. The spigot was turned off for the season. Our requests: 1) Pick up your dog's 💩. Pooper scooper and small trash can is provided 🚮 2) No digging anywhere, even if it appears to be bare. 3) No smoking 🚭 Be sure to walk all the way to the back fence to see our Heritage Grandfather Oak (Tree) that's over 200 years old! This is a backyard but also a full-sized baseball field. My dogs have been playing back there for years. The property is fully fenced in with chain link fence. The areas that backup to another yard are over 6ft tall. There is one strip of fence down the first base line that is about 3ft. All gates are closed and ready to entertain your dogs!

We plan on staying open year round as long as weather permits. As the weather is changing and days are getting shorter please book no later than 6:30pm. 🐶 If you are looking for a quiet and secluded place for your fur babies to play you have found the right spot. This is a great spot for reactive dogs and non socials as I am situated on 5 acres and 2 of the acres are fully fenced for the SniffSpot. My neighbors are very spaced out as well, so u have a very quiet visit. Also a great spot for training ( we have added agility equipment, we have 2 huge tires and an A Frame ladder). A large 1/3 acre fully fenced back yard, safe and dog friendly. Dogs may experience squirrels, birds and butterflies depending on the season! Yard is kept clean and safe by owner who is also a dog groomer and life time dog owner! Neighbors are quiet and keep to themselves, owners dogs will be kept in the house during your visit.

Miller Road "Bark" Yard is close you you! To those who might not be up to that walk again. You feel your dog isn't getting to "run". I have approximately a quarter acre, fully fenced in, well maintained yard. I have a 12 lb. dog. I don't use fertilizer or pesticides in the yard as we feed the local the critters. Plenty of birds, squirrels to chase, occasional rabbit. Outdoor Water available. Digging area (10'x10', Sand) Padded seating is available as well as shade. Electricity Provided for charging phones, etc. I'm (negotiable) preferably same family. It's a great place to come chill. Ask about other amenities. Games, pool , hammock, grilling, I can work with you. ****Note: This is considered private property. Therefore, adult beverages (no glass, plz) bringing a beer or? As well as your personal stash/alternative, as allowed by the State of Michigan/City of Lansing. Please do so responsibly.

There are cable spools, weave poles, a tunnel and a jump for your dog to use for confidence building and exercise! FYI: we do live in a rural area, during hunting season you may hear gun shots in the distance. 🔥 propane heater now available for use in the fall and winter. Please just turn it off when not in use to conserve propane.

Enjoy a beautiful walk on a network of trails that traverse rolling hills in and out of the forest. At the back of the property, you will enjoy some of the best and most private scenery in Oakland County. As summer turns to fall there are a lot fewer bugs and beautiful color changes. Some trees are changing already. Please stay on the cleared paths on the West side and South portion of the property due to work being done on other sections. There are wooden arrow signs that help you navigate to the back of the property and back to the parking area. Thank you. (We are currently expanding and connecting the trails, as well as clearing the views to the lake and river, so watch for some nice additions in the future.)
