55It was great!
55This huge, fenced yard is perfect for all the sniff sniffs and running around!
55we had a good time
55Lovely, clean property. Thank you Mandy.
55This is a lovely, pastoral spot! As much as it gave our dog so much joy, it also was so peaceful for us! There was plenty of room for our pup to run like the wind!!
55I was looking for our first sniffspot while on vacation in Bend. Being in such a dog-friendly city was a real challenge for my reactive pup. The spot was perfect for him to let off some steam - plenty of space to run around and chase a frisbee, and no other dogs around (that he could see). We could hear some neighbors’ dogs when we walked in. There are ducks and geese roaming free at the house next door, so be watchful if your dog is an escape artist. There were also some cows grazing along the road on the way in (fenced in). Besides that, there weren’t any animals that my dog could see or get close to. The fence was enough of a physical barrier to keep my dog from trying to get out, even as a large dog. I did not find the barbed wire fence on one side of the yard to be an issue; there is just a wooded area on the other side, nothing that would attract my dog close to the fence. The ground was level and the grass was short and neat, safe to run on. The host provided toys, water, and a bucket/shovel/bags for cleanup. There are also chairs for humans to use while their dog is playing. I found it easy to locate the spot using the provided directions. I only wish I could have this much space for my dog to enjoy every day!
55Our favorite Sniffspot in Bend! The big open space is perfect for our younger dog to chase his tennis ball and there are lots of smells to keep our older dog occupied. A good mix of sun and shade. Plenty of toys, water, poop bags, and even a couple of recliners for the humans makes it such a good spot.
55A fantastic area for the dogs to run and play! Clean, fresh water, and even toys.
55Clean, grassy 1acre with plenty of room to run. Thoughtful selection of toys. There are goats in the neighboring yard. Make sure to follow owner’s directions. It is well signed.
55Wonderful time as always!

Description

UPDATES, HOURS AND CLOSURES BELOW - PLEASE READ! 1+ acre of fenced grass yard! Perfect for fetch sessions or for off leash training in a secure area. Shady area to sit and relax while throwing the ball for your canine buddy. Kiddie pool available for hot days. Fully fenced with 4ft field fencing. Plenty of outdoor furniture and dog toys to make your visit comfortable and enjoyable for both you and your dog! Please thoroughly read all of the info about about our park, including fencing, other animals and potential hazards. This spot may not be suitable for dogs that have a history of jumping fences or have a high prey drive, as there may be other animals visible on neighboring properties. If you have any questions about whether our spot is a good fit for your dog(s), do not hesitate to reach out! SPRING 2024 UPDATES: *We have installed a new playground for our kids. Please be respectful of this area and do not let your dogs urinate on the structure. If you bring children, they are welcome to use it at your own risk. UPCOMING CLOSURES: We will be closed most holidays and offering limited hours to guests during school breaks, as our kids are at home during this time and it is harder to manage our sniffspot. Hazards

In the warmer months, geese poop may be in the yard. Field mushrooms may also pop up during irrigation season (May-October). There is a pond at the back of the property but it is fenced off with 3ft fencing. Potential for deer sightings and deer poop in the yard, especially during colder months. There is 3 rows of barbed wire along one side of fencing (south side of the yard). There is a compost pile in the corner of the yard by the garden. It has a makeshift fence around it to keep dogs out but guests should be aware that it is there! There are also rhubarb plants with mulch in the yard right as you walk in. There is a small gap of about 5” on one side of the gate into the yard. It is possible that a very small dog could squeeze underneath. Those with dogs under 15lbs should be aware of this gap. This is a real yard with toys for both dogs and children. We try hard to ensure everything is picked up and put in a safe place but there is always going to be chance that your dog could find a small toy left in the grass by one of our kids. Puppies or dogs with a history of swallowing inedible objects should be watched closely!
