55We always enjoy our time at Jeff's spot. It's clean and has plenty of space for my very large boy to run and play, lay in the grass and roll around, or work through some of the training equipment that Jeff has out. It's also a great place for humans to decompress while the pup plays. We've been many times and I see many more times in our future.
55My pup’s favorite place!
55The puppOs had another wonderful time here at Jeff’s place. Love the spooky season decor as well, it makes a great photo with your doggies!
55This was the first time taking my dogs to a private dog park. Appreciated the secure fencing, having two separate areas, and the lovely surroundings. A great experience!
55Lots of fun things to do. Our dogs loved it. Definitely coming back to work with the livestock and training around them.
55Jeff's place us our pup's favorite. We've been coming here for over a year and we always leave with contented & tired pups. He seems to add new stuff every time & our pups never get tired of finding new scents, playing ball or working in the training area. It's always clean and in perfect condition. Thanks for opening up your pastures to us, Jeff! Arya & Otis appreciate it!
55This sniff spot was nice and secluded. It’s a good sized space for dogs to romp and play. One of my dogs was a bit too interested in the goats and kept running back and forth trying to figure out how to get in there with them 😂. But the goats are safely contained behind fencing and the chickens didn’t seem to kind the dogs racing by them in their contained area as well. I will say my big came home so tired after running and jumping over some of the agility equipment that is there to use if you like 😊. Our other 3 dogs loved watching the goats and chickens and the younger pup even tried to play now with them to try and get them to engage and play with her. Overall it’s a great space to take the pups to explore and get some exposure to wild life and do some training or just a lot of sniffing and playing. We will definitely go back again soon.
55Such a beautiful place to take the pups. They had alot of fun and the goats and chickens provided to s of smells. Will definitely go back!
55Peaceful setting. Willow loved the pool that Jeff filled up for her and the agility objects. Will definitely be back!
55Brought my high drive husky to start getting her more comfortable around farm animals, and she did better than I expected! She was looking for a way in to the goats and chickens but no luck; the fence is very secure from all angles. Will be back to continue training our pups!

Neighbor occasionally has dogs out. Right when facing the pasture. They bark but are usually called back by the owner. My field fence buts up to neighbors fence. So two fences on that side.

We have chickens and goats (Alpacas recently re-homed) The animals are in own enclosed area but visible to dogs. Goats are used to dogs and will just stare at you. Feel free to feed them (they love carrots) Training field has a corner where dogs can get up close to chickens, but not the goats.

This is a quiet area but pasture occasionally has neighbors in their back yards. I occasionally will be doing yard work/chores but will stay out of training field and pasture unless directed otherwise prior to visit. Have fun, relax and get some training in.

Description

Come down the first driveway. You will see a white sign “Windenfir” You will then see a sign “Windenfir Training Field.” Parking avail in front of gate, near the exit, or in front of garage. Basically you can park anywhere :) Agility course, tennis balls, fresh water, and poo buckets available. After going though Windenfir training field gate you will see the back gate with a sign “Windenfir Dog Pasture." Great place to explore and let them sniff. Back gate at the end of pasture is on leash only. Close gate when you leave! Have deer who live in the back acre so a lot to sniff. Looking to the right when out in the pasture, the neighbors Goldens occasionally bark. Two fences between properties on this side. Owner usually calls them when barking. The pasture has goat droppings so no surprises. This is a farm :) Chickens and goats in separate area and visible to dogs (see photos). Don’t be surprised if they come up to the fence to see what’s going on. Very nice field fencing in pasture. Chain link/field fencing in training field. As of now the pasture is slick and hard packed in certain areas. Check pasture area if deciding to throw a ball/stick/small child :). Playhouse is open for photos and kids. A few small pieces inside in case a small child goes inside. Training available by request. Windenfirdogtraining.com Enjoy, breathe and relax.

Welcome, Come down the first driveway and you will see our address on a white sign “Windenfir” You will then see a sign "Windenfir Training Field" on a gate. This field is free from farm animals and droppings. Agility course if desired. Hose and water bowls in training field. You can park near the gate, exit, or in front of garage, unless visiting before 6am. My teenage kids might come and go and have been raised around working K9s and are not to engage unless you acknowledge them. After going through the training field gate you will see at the end of the field "Windenfir Dog Pasture" The pasture has some goat droppings, so no surprises, this is a small farm. Please 🙏 watch your dogs. Finding some hidden Mickeys, (poo) but totally understand with all the pinecones. Animals are in own fenced area, but visible to your dogs. They just stare at you and are used to dogs. Neighbor in pasture (right when facing) occasionally has a old Golden who barks. They typically call him back, but want you to be aware. As of now the location dry and hard packed. Have fun and get some training in :) Windenfir Family

Montana's 5 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Camas: Closing October 21st for winter.

Closing October 21st for winter. Kiddy pool has a hole in it, so will be unusable until further notice! Please read ALL descriptions (including photos) before entering property. Return the toys and balls to where you found them, to the best of your ability. 5 acres is a lot of ground to cover, and if I have to round everything up after you visit, you will be blocked. Losing a ball or three is no big deal, it happens lol, but not picking up after yourself is rude. Please leave the place as you found it. Don’t knock on my doors, and do not ask me for my phone number. We have 3 separate fields. Black berry bushes are very present in all fields. FIELD 1: Closest to busy road, least suitable for free-roam incase of delivery or neighbor utilizing third gate on easement. I consider this field “the buffer zone”. Best suited for dogs with proper recall skills, or for those who want to hide biodegradable items in the rock piles to be found. Orange flags indicate boundaries with a buffer to prevent trespassing onto neighboring property back into the woods. There are times when I have to leave or enter the property, which I will notify you if this is to happen during your visit. Our three dogs will be heard from this field (from inside of the house). You will find the 2nd gate entrance here, into field 2. Look for the black garbage can, as well as blue kiddy pool to navigate to field 2. FIELD 2: the best field! Our backyard. It is completely fenced in, private, and safe for dogs 15lbs and up- smaller dogs such as our 9lb dog need to wear a device to recall because fencing is large enough for them to escape through. The fencing is approximately 3’ high. Horses can be seen from this field on neighbor’s property, along with their dog, Cooper. It is sloped, which is excellent for exercise! There are trees blocking our house and windows for privacy, easy gate access, and accessible water. There is a nice view of Mt. Hood, and a couple of log benches around the property. I try my best to maintain and refresh a kiddy pool and the water bowl. I strongly recommend against use of field 3 during foggy periods for safety of your pets. Should a dog without proper recall training decide to wander off in field 3, you will have a LOT of ground to cover without much sight distance (on foggy days). Water access is in field 1 by the house, please turn off with hose in “on” position to prevent built-up water pressure in the hose. Field 3: this is an excellent field for dogs with recall skills. Through the first two fields, is field 3, a property long and flat, one which openly borders our neighbor’s property. You must go through the gate at the bottom of field 2 to enter this field. While this field is technically entirely fenced, the entire property is not all ours, so we have marked boundaries using orange flags. Please reference photos for what these orange boundary flags look like. The orange flags indicate hazards along fence line, entrance to bee hives, and boundaries between properties. Cautions: Coyotes frequent this lower field on a weekly basis, so large dogs with proper recall training are advised only. I strongly recommend against use of this field during foggy periods for safety of your pets. Should a dog without proper recall training decide to wander off, you will have a LOT of ground to cover without much sight distance. Also, coyotes tend to be more active during these foggy periods. This field (field 3) is a split property (2 parcels), half ours, half theirs. The neighboring owners have bee hives! Please be mindful of bees, and maintaining general boundaries (see photos of orange flags designating boundary lines). It’s quite rugged, so be mindful of wild animal scat, mole holes, and uneven grass. There is a digging area here too. I have seen coyotes, skunks, deer, owls, a feral cat, and bunnies in this field. Horses and neighbor dog cooper are sometimes visible. Please contact me with any questions!
