Add this extra in addition to the original Sniffscavenger Hunt extra if you want double treats for the hunt - great if you have multiple dogs partaking in the treat hunt!
Homegrown, organic fresh herb bundles available for purchase! Herbs available currently are mint, rosemary, oregano and chives. A mix will be provided unless you specify a preference.
Add some mental enrichment to your visit! Before your arrival, I'll hide treats all over the yard to challenge your pup to sniff them out. Treats may be chicken jerky, beef lung, or salmon based. (message if you have a preference or other allergy concerns). Only available on weekends; please message before booking to see if a weekday is possible.

Please keep an eye on your dogs and "leave no trace" of your visit. Return toys to the basket, clean up after yourself and your dog (feel free to use trash bin in driveway on your way out), and don't allow dogs to dig or destroy. Keep dogs out of the garden beds! Please try to keep muddy paws off the patio furniture if possible. While we know some barking is inevitable when dogs are excited, please try to minimize excessive barking as a courtesy to our neighbors. We want to keep this SniffSpot available to our community for a long time to come and appreciate your help in doing so. Thank you! ❤️

Enjoy an enchanting Pacific Northwest rainforest adventure at Wonderlane World Famous Sniffspot for Dogs and Their Best Friends - Bring your friends and their dogs too! Unleash your dogs and frolic with your beloved friends in the lush embrace of our hilly Pacific Northwest natural rainforest. Wonderlane invites you and your best pals to explore 67 years of history across 2 acres of established trails, over 9 terraces, under towering old-growth trees, listening to the gentle murmur of a clear creek, accessible by your choice of 2 gates. For security we require the Entrance Gate to be closed behind you. From the parking area choose your path— the left or right trailhead gates —and meander down Flying Horse Lane or Tail Waggin' Lane to The Landing Pad, where trails weave into playful circles perfect for a game of ‘Hide and Go Seek’ or a chase! At the forest edge, Madhatter Lane invites you to a serene creek, a secret haven at our fully fenced sanctuary. For environmental reasons, the creek area is not fenced, therefore bring a leash for your dog(s) when going into that area. Our hilly forested land, a tapestry of guardrails, fences, gates, natural barriers, rolling trails, springs and creeks, sometimes steep, sometimes flat, is a haven for play. There is a 100-foot-long Stick Library! These trails, originally created for horses, have been lovingly reclaimed from invasive brush and dead trees, now fun for paws and feet alike. We’ve ensured the future of this tranquil forest by planting more than 600 local tree saplings. The canopy of Hemlock, Douglas Fir, Western Red Cedar, Yew, BigLeaf Maple, and Alder, filled out as soon as there was more light. These trails whisper stories of the past. In the spring flowering bushes bloom from March through early June, in the summer lush frilly leaves decorate every breeze with greenery in motion, and in the fall in October the leaves magically turn yellow, orange, red, brown, and purple. Wonderlane is more than a place; it’s an experience—a Sniffspot designed with your dog’s joy in mind. While they dash through wood chips and Pacific Northwest duff, under ferns, and around bends, you’ll enjoy the views of a 20-acre forested wetland, a living vista of nature, and plenty of chairs to sit in. This forest is alive with the songs of songbirds - sparrows, finches, thrushes, grosbeaks, and a host of other birds, such as majestic American Bald Eagles are seen here. Walk, run, or pause on our soft wide well-drained sand or woodchip paths and let the forest’s secrets reveal themselves uniquely to you. We’ve spent more than six years crafting this haven, just a mile from the South Sound, for you and your friends to run, walk, sit, and revel in the company of your pups. And when the day’s adventures are done, two Starbucks await to refresh you, 3 minutes and 5 minutes away - remember puppercinos/pup cups are free. Join our community on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61556216197208 or Bluesky https://bsky.app/profile/wonderlane.bsky.social or by searching for “Wonderlane World Famous Sniffspot,” or ask a warm and friendly nearby AI to direct your browser to us, to see tails of joy. Wonderlane walks in the woods where nature’s heart beats, inviting you to breathe in the peaceful air, one paw print at a time! If your dog ever hesitates to leave, a ring of the Magic Chuck Waggin’ Triangle will bring them running back. Reminder in summer, or if visiting around twilight bring repellent or wear it when you drop into the forest, and if you choose, onto the creek area. This Spot is best for physically fit individuals, but although we are disabled we enjoy it whenever there's time. If you need assistance or more info, please contact us directly. Keeping Wonderlane pristine is a collective effort, and we value your help in maintaining the beauty of our shared space! We can't do this without your help. Please use the usual household garbage bin marked 'Garbage' at the driveway entrance for disposal of poo bags. Please close water hydrants completely. Press the hydrant water handle all the way down into the completely closed position after use. If the water is not pressed completely closed, water continues to leak out the bottom of the hydrant unseen. Please close each gate. Dogs must be leashed going to and coming from the parking area, and may be unleashed when entering the dog park. We rely upon guests to contact us and tell us immediately if they need anything. To be fully fenced please roll shut the main gate after you park. There are also 2 sets of gates at the top of each trail to the Sniffspot. The forest area is fully fenced, some doubled. There are 2 gates that lead to the creek so you can control access. Please roll the Entrance gate into the open and securely hooked position when you leave, thank you! Enjoy the forest’s magic at Wonderlane. Join us at Bluesky https://bsky.app/profile/wonderlane.bsky.social or Facebook https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61556216197208 --------------------------------------- Thank you to the many regulars, Sniffpass holders, and new guests who clean up after their dogs so very well! Proud of our community! Thank you for closing hydrants all the way so they do not leak out the bottom and cost us all money! PS some guests want the creek fenced too, which isn't possible due to environmental reasons. *********************************** Created in memory of Rosie Lane, beloved dog. *********************************** If Wonderlane Sniffspot is booked you might LOVE our sister Sniffspot site in the forest right outside Redmond, Washington - Magical Mossy Forest - 5 acres of trails and winter creek. https://www.sniffspot.com/listings/redmond-wa/magical-mossy-forest-69904

2 acres with 5 foot chain link fence surrounded by forest and wetlands. This offers a distraction-free place for your dogs to get their zoomies on! You get both shade and sun, with grass, dirt, wood chips, (and a bit of mud in some spots during the rainy season). We are in the country, so our park doesn't share a fence line with neighbors. You won't see any other dogs. There could be far away dog barks from a few blocks over, but nothing up close. We don't use toxic sprays, so rest assured it's a natural and safe place to romp and play in private. The 2 acres has mature trees throughout and is mowed during the growing season. It's perfect for throwing tennis balls and getting lots of good sniffs in. You will be able to see your dog at all times (unless he/she is hiding behind a tree.) If you add "The Woods" extra (see below) detailed instructions will be within the Sniffspot park, on the SouthEast fence next to the big red bow.

Update 1/1/25 Two spots available, your choice! Spot #1 tends to have puddles after heavy rains. It’s wise to bring a towel to wipe down the doggos before you leave. We have reopened spot #2 in the pasture nearest May Valley Road. For the time being, the goats are still in the pen adjacent to spot #2. We moved the birds out and are finishing a new goat area. If you want a cleaner run and don’t mind meeting our goats Bonnie, Clyde, and Grommit, check out spot #2. The goats don’t mind dogs too much, but may try to head butt them through the fence if dogs get too close. If you don’t mind occasional puddles, spot #1 is good for a splashing good time. Remember to bring boots and towels for afterward. 1 acre of flat field in a beautiful setting. One large tree in the corner. Fully fenced approx 4.5’ with predator fencing. We have motion lights that come on at night, not super bright but makes the spot visible during early night winters. Boarded by two, large pastures, a private road with limited use and our barn. Occasionally during the wet months flocks of geese/ducks may land in the wetlands adjacent. We have goats, turkeys, geese, ducks and chickens but they are on the other side of the property and should not be seen/heard. We have two dogs, Veles and Flora, that will be on the other side of the property or in the house. There is a covered bench and trash can in the spot, fresh water is also available. An outdoor bathroom is available for use, see map. When using the bathroom please keep your pup in your car. We look forward to hosting you and your pup! Please reach out if you have questions. -Jenn & Drew
