I inquired about the previous poor reviews and comments about the driftwood and blocked off dock. I was told it wasn't bad, no problem. I was offered an updated picture, which never came. On arrival I was told I was sent a message warning me about a wasp nest at the dock that she just found today. That message was sent after my booked time had started. Later she told me the nest popped up 2 weeks ago. There is a review that mentions this wasp nest, so it was a bold-faced lie trying to tell me she just found it today, then changing the story. Highly unacceptable to not mention the nest given the questions I asked about the water access. Shady business.
In addition, the property owned may be 3 acres, but there is nowhere near this much space for dogs to play. The lake access is the only thing I saw making this property worthwhile visiting, and the owner has clearly decided not to maintain this adequately.Natasha M.
15Seems like a nice spot however as soon as we got to the dock both of my dogs were swarmed by wasps. Both got stung about 20 times and I was trying to remove them from the area but they were getting stung so bad they were rolling in the grass to try and get them off. I believe the nest is right under the dock. It was very scary. I would go again after confirmation that the wasp nest has been removed. We were only there for about 2 minutes before my dogs were stung and we had to leave. Didn’t get to enjoy the water or the property.Melissa O.
15We didn't have a great visit today. Not sure why but there was tied up piece of fencing closing off access to the water. The water swim area is the main reason we go here. And there was a wasp nest under the step at the top of the dock area. I'm sure the host will look after the wasps. But writing this review to help avoid anyone else getting bitten until it's cleared out. Tarra M.
45My pup had a great time. I wasn't sure where to go at first but we found the path down to the water past the house.
If your dog loves to swim this is a fun spot. Not a lot of walking trail I could see but we will be back for summer swing! Tarra M.
45Our dogs really enjoyed their time today! The water feature was the reason we visited and it didn’t disappoint. Definitely good for strong swimmers and agile dogs who can navigate rough terrain as there is a fair bit of driftwood.
There is a hill you have to walk down to access the water so pups (and humans) with mobility issues might have a hard time getting around.
We couldn’t find a trash bin so we brought our bagged poop back with us.

35A lot of drift wood blocking entry and exit of water. Some small branches sticking straight up. We tried to clear a path but was pretty dangerous. I informed owner of my concerns so hopefully they clean it up. It was nice to have the dock for the dogs to jump off but they had hard time getting back on land.Jessica H.
