15The owner’s dogs (large, not friendly) got out and charged my dog and I while my dog was still leashed in the driveway. They pounced on my dog and had to be pulled off of him. I quickly loaded my dog in the car and immediately left, in tears. According to prior reviews, this is not the first time the owner’s dogs have gotten out during a Sniffspot visit. Even if we hadn’t been attacked, the property (from what I could see since we were there all of 2 minutes) was dilapidated, with trash strewn about the yard and a broken down car in the designated visitor parking spot. This was my first Sniffspot experience and I feel duped. The whole reason I’m on this app is to give my reactive rescue dog opportunities that we can’t get out in public.
45Cleo was a bit nervous at first, as the property is on a pretty busy road (at the time we were there) and thus there was a lot of noise. But, after 5 or 10 minutes she was comfortable enough to let off the leash to roam. If you have an escape artist you’ll want to keep your pup on a leash. It would be easy to get to the road. Cleo enjoyed the pond and chasing the frogs that were in it. It is quite muddy around the edges, so be careful if your dog isn’t strong enough to get out of it. She also enjoyed the creek bed that ran through the property and the wooded areas. I didn’t find the towels or supplies that are mentioned in the listing.
35Very spacious front yard, pond to swim in was nice. Unfortunately owners dog escaped, interrupted solo play time wasn’t & extremely friendly. Hard to find sniffspots with water, so would consider returning if there was a guarantee no additional dogs would be joining.
35Nice area for passing through
55Lovely property! Super muddy but thankfully they had the hose ready! Host came out and offered a towel to help dry, loved it!
55Plenty of front yard for my dog to explore!
55Such a peaceful spot, my dog loved visiting!
55My dog had a blast! There is a small pond and a creek through the property to play in. Mariana was very communicative and kind. Would definitely go back.
55Unable to visit due to severe thunderstorm watch. Host was pleasant.
55Beautiful spot!

Welcome to Nancy sniff spot! A private paradise for dogs to play and explore. Enjoy the freedom to run, sniff, and have a tail-wagging country style good time!🐾 INSTRUCCIÓN: - if you find the gate closed, please Feel free to opened, just if is possible love it closed after you come in and after You come out, it will helps prevent the runners to go to the road. - when you drive down the road you will see a parking space on the left. You may park there. - you will find a tall trash can that You may use if you need. And a red small chair will have clean dry towels in case you need it, you will also find some treats, poop bags, toys and a few dogs products. (Nancy will appreciate the tips). -there’s a hoes by the office Door, and there’s also a plate for fresh water. SUGGESTIONS: - if you exploring by the front fence, I suggest the leash especially if you have a runner. (Don’t let that prevent you from enjoying it. It’s very beautifully natural, and there’s many things to observe. -the sniff area is the entire front yard. You can go and explore in the back after the fence to the corn field BUT! it has to be on the leash, there’s a chicken farm in the back and this is off limits. The chicken stress when they see other dogs. Please be respectful. and also a car washing area per reservation only and you might see other people in that area( fell free to reserve that service extra service )

Where Dogs can be Dogs

This is a very quiet place on a country road where your dogs can be off leash and free to explore nature. The full four acres are surrounded by a 5 foot fence and there is a small creek running through the property. There is a wide spot in the creek that is easily the most popular spot for our canine visitors! There are larger fields and open areas for your dogs to practice their retrieving, and there are many paths in the woods for hiking. The beginning of each path is marked with quartz stones to show you the way. You will also find several benches scattered throughout the property so that you can take a load off while your dogs run and play. When it rains the property can be quite wet in some areas, so bring boots and a towel to clean off your muddy (but happy!) dog. There is a full competition size agility field within the four acres. The agility equipment is completely fenced in and will be accessible only to those who have had at least one formal beginner's agility class. This is to keep you and your dog safe and to prevent misuse of the equipment. Please message the host when you book the spot and before your first visit to discuss your agility experience if you are wanting to access the equipment. **I would really like for your first visit to be on a weekend or a Tuesday (my day off) so that I can meet with you to show you some details about the property and discuss parking. After the first visit, book whenever you want! If you absolutely cannot make it these days for your first visit, we can work something out. 🙂
