55Like the new parking pad and bridges.
55Awesome space and our dogs had the best day! Lots of room to run and sprint and the trails and creek were awesome to walk through with the pups. Poop bags and a water station were a great touch and super convenient. Great hosts as well, thanks!
55Well kept and lovely piece of property! The hosts were great and my dog had the best time. He will definitely be sleeping hard tonight!
55This Sniffspot is great! Lots of toys and trails. A HUGE highlight was the bungee tug on the tree to the right when you walk in. I’ve been dying to put my dog on one and he loved it! The trails are great to meander around on because they all connect. I booked last minute so unfortunately wasn’t able to use the agility field but we’ll be back for it! There were jumps and a tunnel outside the field we were able to practice on. Watch out for spider webs on the trails!!
55Beautiful property and extremely thoughtful host! I'm so excited to have found this spot for my pups.
55What a fabulous space! Cleo absolutely loved wandering all the trails. And, although the creek was dry she had a blast walking up and down and through its beds. Laura was so good. She met us when we arrived to give us a quick tour of the property. It is completely fenced, with absolutely no possibility of escape. Super clean, with anything you could want for your visit. I ended up leaving the backpack I usually carry by the car. Obviously a dog mom herself, she thought of everything! We didn’t use the agility course space, but it looked incredible if you have a dog that likes that. This was easily one of our favorite places. I imagine we’ll go weekly once the creek is running again!
55Great spot for pups to play and romp around! Lots of exciting things to do for them! We had a great time!
55If I could leave more stars I would! The host was very friendly and gave us a tour. The trails and land were well kept. She provided a pool that all my dogs loved. 100 percent we will be back
55Our pup had the best time! Great shady paths and awesome place for him to run!
55Great host and great place to let the dogs run free! Unfortunately the creek was dried up but the still found a little muddy water hole to play in. This is definitely our new spot!

Description

This is a very quiet place on a country road where your dogs can be off leash and free to explore nature. The full four acres are surrounded by a 5 foot fence and there is a small creek running through the property. There is a wide spot in the creek that is easily the most popular spot for our canine visitors! There are larger fields and open areas for your dogs to practice their retrieving, and there are many paths in the woods for hiking. The beginning of each path is marked with quartz stones to show you the way. You will also find several benches scattered throughout the property so that you can take a load off while your dogs run and play. When it rains the property can be quite wet in some areas, so bring boots and a towel to clean off your muddy (but happy!) dog. There is a full competition size agility field within the four acres. The agility equipment is completely fenced in and will be accessible only to those who have had at least one formal beginner's agility class. This is to keep you and your dog safe and to prevent misuse of the equipment. Please message the host when you book the spot and before your first visit to discuss your agility experience if you are wanting to access the equipment. **I would really like for your first visit to be on a weekend or a Tuesday (my day off) so that I can meet with you to show you some details about the property and discuss parking. After the first visit, book whenever you want! If you absolutely cannot make it these days for your first visit, we can work something out. 🙂

Cleanliness

100% of guests said this spot was as clean as expected during their visit.

Hazards

It’s the woods! Briars, roots, vines, ticks, wild blackberry bushes, mole holes in some of the open spots, wet areas, poison ivy, creek, swimming hole. Nature! Where the creek enters and exits the property, be aware that there are small areas where a determined dog could get through. We need to keep these small areas open for the visiting beavers who like to travel down the creek from the adjacent pond. Otherwise they chew our fence!

Additional rules

I would like to meet guests before their first visit to show them options for parking and the general lay of the land. Anyone that is interested in using the agility equipment is required to have had at least a beginner's course in agility before being allowed to use the equipment. This is an important safety issue.

We love the quiet country life and enjoy offering our space to dogs who would not normally be able to stretch their legs!
