55It’s fall, leaves are on the ground, and the woods are just gorgeous!! This is by far our favorite spot, and this last visit appeared to be Cleo’s favorite yet! So much fun running and hearing the leaves crunch, and running through the creek !
55So fun and relaxing!! Very accommodating, had everything we needed!
55We have a three year-old yellow lab. He gets walked 4 miles daily on a leash, but that’s not enough for him. He needs to run. I have been wanting to find a place like this since we got him as a puppy. It’s so great to have the place to yourself and not worry about other dogs and it’s nice to know he can’t get out being that it’s totally fenced in. Four acres. I just can’t say enough good things about the place. Today was our first time and he absolutely loved it. He ran nonstop. Loved the creek. The owners have water for the dog, towels to clean them up with, Poop bags and a garbage can. Toys and a tug toy that hangs from a tree. There are nicely cleared paths to walk on. This will now be a weekly thing for our dog as long as there are spots available. I read great reviews so they are pretty booked up most of the time. Again, highly recommend. The owners are super nice and helpful.
55Wowza! What an absolutely amazing Sniffspot! My 5 dogs had an absolute blast zooming around the trails and splashing around in the creek! They enjoyed climbing on everything possible, and walking over every bridge. The fact that the entire space is fenced just elevates the entire experience, granting lots of peace of mind! This was just what we all needed to break up our long journey from the top of the country to the bottom 😁 The hosts are super thoughtful and considerate… I got a tour upon arrival, and even a heads up about the traffic I would be heading into once I left. I have been to over 140 Sniffspots throughout the USA, and this one is definitely tops! The hosts have really thought of everything— even providing fresh drinking water and a bin for poo—and are very dedicated to your dogs having the time of their lives! The dogs and I will 100% stop by here again the next time we are in the area.
55Our dogs are so excited from the moment we pull onto the road, they love this SniffSpot! It has everything a dog could want-fields, wooded trails, water hole-it is so special to see them just run and play! We are so grateful this place exists! It’s also so well maintained and cared for.
55The perfect spot!!! My dog had the best time exploring and it was a care-free experience for me! Will be back!
55Absolutely amazing spot! It was large, private, well maintained, and we felt comfortable letting our anxious dog off leash to run around. She had so much fun walking the trails, playing with the toys, and even jumping in the water. We will definitely be coming back!
55Another great morning at our favorite Sniffspot!
55Hands down the best Sniffspot around!
55This place was great! My dog had the best time! We will 100% be back!

Description

This is a very quiet place on a country road where your dogs can be off leash and free to explore nature. The full four acres are surrounded by a 5 foot fence and there is a small creek running through the property. There is a wide spot in the creek that is easily the most popular spot for our canine visitors! There are larger fields and open areas for your dogs to practice their retrieving, and there are many paths in the woods for hiking. The beginning of each path is marked with quartz stones to show you the way. You will also find several benches scattered throughout the property so that you can take a load off while your dogs run and play. When it rains the property can be quite wet in some areas, so bring boots and a towel to clean off your muddy (but happy!) dog. There is a full competition size agility field within the four acres. The agility equipment is completely fenced in and will be accessible only to those who have had at least one formal beginner's agility class. This is to keep you and your dog safe and to prevent misuse of the equipment. Please message the host when you book the spot and before your first visit to discuss your agility experience if you are wanting to access the equipment. **I would really like for your first visit to be on a weekend or a Tuesday (my day off) so that I can meet with you to show you some details about the property and discuss parking. After the first visit, book whenever you want! If you absolutely cannot make it these days for your first visit, we can work something out. 🙂

Hazards

It’s the woods! Briars, roots, vines, ticks, wild blackberry bushes, mole holes in some of the open spots, wet areas, poison ivy, creek, swimming hole. Nature! Where the creek enters and exits the property, be aware that there are small areas where a determined dog could get through. We need to keep these small areas open for the visiting beavers who like to travel down the creek from the adjacent pond. Otherwise they chew our fence!

Additional rules

I would like to meet guests before their first visit to show them options for parking and the general lay of the land. Anyone that is interested in using the agility equipment is required to have had at least a beginner's course in agility before being allowed to use the equipment. This is an important safety issue.
