Hi, I am Jeane Mcnamee and I am from Chicago originally, however, I have lived Indian Trail for 24 years. I live on 30 acres of what used to be, a mom and Pop nursery. I am slowly converting it to a dog park. I have recently added some new stone benches and I am in the process of doing a field in wildflowers so you can sit on the bench watch your dogs and smell the flowers 🌺 It is a beautiful wooded natural land, which my 3 dogs have enjoyed for years! I have decided to let other dogs enjoy my space also, which has lots of natural beauty, fields, woods, and even a pond to walk around. Beware of snapping turtles every now and then. 😊🐾🐶🐢

Picnic table and outdoor furniture for humans or dogs underneath shade trees. Climbing structure. Water with hose available. Trash and poop bags available. Entrance is 80 yards away from residence. Minutes from 485/Lawyers Rd - easy to find, easy to get to!

The one plus acre field is the area where the dogs would play/run, there are also woods they can go into, they also have access to a pond about 3/4 acre, but this would need to be discussed at first visit so you take a look and see if it is acceptable. The whole area is fenced. Five acres in total. We do have five dogs, but they would be in the house when you are visiting with your dogs, you may hear them bark, but would not see them, a separate entrance to the field is available. No traffic near by.

The full four acres are surrounded by a 5 foot fence and there is a small creek running through the property. There is a wide spot in the creek that is easily the most popular spot for our canine visitors! In the summer, though, the creek dries up until the fall rains come. You can always message us to find out if there is water in the creek before your visit. There are larger fields and open areas for your dogs to practice their retrieving, and there are many paths in the woods for hiking. The beginning of each path is marked with quartz stones to show you the way. You will also find several benches scattered throughout the property so that you can take a load off while your dogs run and play. When it rains the property can be quite wet in some areas, so bring boots and a towel to clean off your muddy (but happy!) dog. There is a full competition size agility field within the four acres. The agility equipment is completely fenced in and will be accessible only to those who have had at least one formal beginner's agility class. This is to keep you and your dog safe and to prevent misuse of the equipment. Please message the host when you book the spot and before your first visit to discuss your agility experience if you are wanting to access the equipment. **I would really like for your first visit to be on a weekend or a Tuesday (my day off) so that I can meet with you to show you some details about the property and discuss parking. After the first visit, book whenever you want! If you absolutely cannot make it these days for your first visit, we can work something out. 🙂
