55Lovely backyard for my dog & her friend to play together! Easy to access, beautiful weather, access to clean toys and fresh water. We enjoyed spending time in this yard and will be back again!
55This is a Sniffspot we visit often. The toys are fun for the boys and the space is secure. There is always a bowl and hose for fresh water. We had a great time!
55Great spot! Easy and well-appointed.
55Again an amazing spot especially with dogs who have behavioral needs. Quiet, clean and secure with nice parking. Thank you again for letting us use your yard!
55Great space for dogs to run around and play! I went right before sunset, and the yard had some lights so it wasn’t too dark. Water, toys, and poop bags were on site, which was a lovely touch. Would definitely come back.
55Great Sniffspot and great communication :)
55Great space to play or train. Host has some toys and lots of balls which my pup appreciated! Host was also very responsive and accommodating when i was running late and requested more time (which we didn’t need bc we played so hard). Would recommend and plan to book again.
55This was a great first sniffspot! Easy access, lots of toys, and fresh water! Thank you for having us!
55Our girl loved it!!!!! Toys, fresh water, and plenty of sniffs!!!
55We had another wonderful visit! The space is perfect for a little sniffing and romping around, and also comfortable for the humans to hang out and supervise.

Description

I have a large space that I am sure a dog will love to run in. In the summer, the "grass" (more weeds than actual grass) gets very dry. Year round there are A LOT of burrs due to the dryness so if your dog has longer fur they might get some attached to them. As well, in the winter, post rain, it can get muddy back there. It's a fairly large open space with a longer run on the side. Also, I want to note that in the back of the property the fence is lower, around 4/4.5 feet (the rest of the yard is at least 6 feet), so if your dog is a good jumper, this could be an issue. Happy playing!

Hello, my name is Robyn. I bought this house a few years ago and when a friend of mine was over she suggested that I help out urban dog owners that might not have a place to let their dogs run free. Sounded like a great idea to me. I love dogs and would be happy to share my space with them.

Private 2 Acre Forest Swimming Hole In Rural Woodside (Update: 4 stairs added)

This is a private, undeveloped, forested spot. If you are interested in this spot, you and your dog should be up for a mini adventure. This spot is not a manicured, backyard park. It is wild and beautiful, and a rare find in this area. THERE IS NO TRASH SERVICE AT THIS FOREST LOCATION. PACK EVERYTHING OUT WITH YOU, INCLUDING DOG POOP BAGGIES. The trail starts at the west (downhill) end of the parking spot, and winds downhill to the creek (there are a couple of switchbacks). The trail from the parking area to the creek is less than 5 minutes long. At the bottom of the trail, is a deck. Beyond the deck is a year-round creek with a swimming hole. There are fish, frogs, newts, and crawdads. All wildlife is protected, so please don't catch or remove them. You may walk up and down along the creek exploring, as long as you turn around if you see a waterfall downstream or a house in the distance. The trail that leads downhill to the creek is intermediate, not for beginners or flip-flops. There should be no poison oak or ticks on the trail, but if you venture off the trail, you may encounter poison oak or ticks. There are blackberry bushes to the sides of the trail that resemble poison oak. There should be no foxtails. You may see wild animals. As a wild spot, you may encounter typical hazards that are present in most local forest trails, such as wildlife, water, and trip-and-fall hazards. This is a private spot, and there should be no other people or dogs during your booking. If you see someone during your booking, please let us know as soon as possible, so that we can take steps to prevent them from trespassing again. There is no lighting at this spot, so if you book before sunrise or after sunset, please bring a headlamp or flashlight. There is no trash collection service at this location, so please pack out any trash. Thank you!
